Our right standing before God is not because of what we have achieved or attained through obedience to the law.It's a great privilege,a privilege of being restored to fellowship with God based on what He Himself offers to qualify us for it...We call it His righteousness(The righteousness of God).
This is where all boasting is excluded.You cannot boast that you have any merits to deserve it..infact you're unworthy of it and even your own righteousness is so unrighteous so that before God it is only qualified as filthy rags.
Our acceptability before God is not like the way we approach the so called great people, politicians,Mps or Government officials who are our relatives or friends.We can go to their offices by virtue of being their relatives, former school mates etc ..But when it comes to God, there's no difference, to both the Greek and Jews ,the morally upright and the immorals,the pharisee and the Gentiles....Our acceptability before God is by faith in His Son...The blood of Jesus.....The righteousness through faith.
The field is level,no unfair treatment,no relative here...it is His righteousness.
