The Shawl...
It covers the neck from cold..
Used to mix and match what you wear....
When you sit it can be used to cover the feet from cold as you decently sit without fear of exposed legs to the people

But
There is yet another important thing the shawl we normally wear does
And that is the wiping of tears faster when the handkerchief seems to be far away....

And when the handkerchief is all wet, shawls come.in handy.

The tears of a mother are sacred prayers.

The tears are silent prayers flowing from the heart speaking on matters of the heart no language can interpret
God understands the language of the tears and he always responds to the voice in the tears
The story of Hagar, a slave woman that named God
El_Roi
She stayed with Abraham long enough to learn communication with Angels, like Abraham She learned to name the Almighty the right way,
She learnt to hear when Angels talk
She learnt obedience to what Angels commanded her to do.

Looking at this story of the bible in the eyes of Ishmael:
In Genesis we see Ishmael and Hagar in the desert and at the verge of death Ishmael did not shout,he didn't pray,he cried to God....
I am imagining this son of Abraham dropping tears
In those tears were questions, complains and prayers done silently...
He must have asked....
Why is dad doing this to us?
Why am I being sent away with mama from what I know to be home into the desert without water or food?
Where is this just God of my father Abraham?
Why did he allow me to come into this mess I never asked for, I am innocent and never asked to be brought into this world....
So he cried.....
Tears freely flowing as they speak while the mouth was shut
Hagar couldn't stand to see the tears of her boy inside the desert so she went away from his sight so that she cannot look at her son dying...
I believe she was as well crying...
The background story of Hagar the woman that God saw isn't interesting either
She was an Egyptian slave girl , living in Egypt aland she knew as home , she was given to Sarah as a gift,a maid to be precise, when Abraham went to Egypt with a lie that Sarah is his sister and amazingly Sarah agreed to the lie and Fast forward of the story....
Sarah is the one who gave Abraham Hagar to be his concubine she had never thought of Abraham as a man to sleep with, he was her master and in obedience to Sarah direction so that she can have a child Hagar agreed to the plan.
As a Bond woman there was no otherwise...
As she looks on the son almost going
Hagar cried remembering the genesis of all her troubles, Ishmael on the other hand cried with many questions because he carried the DNA of Abraham and came as a result of a mutual agreement of the 3 adults
Abraham, Sarah and Hagar
Under normal circumstances no man chases away his own flesh and blood but Abraham did....because he was commanded to do so by God.
Read:
Genesis 12:9_20
Genesis 16:1_16
Genesis 17
In the Genesis 17 we see another deeper bond of circumcision as commanded by God...

Genesis 17:10-11,18,20,23-25
[10]This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised;
[11]and you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your fo****ins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.
[18]And Abraham said to God, “Oh, that Ishmael might live before You!”
[20]And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation.
[23]So Abraham took Ishmael his son, all who were born in his house and all who were bought with his money, every male among the men of Abraham’s house, and circumcised the flesh of their fo****ins that very same day, as God had said to him.
[24]Abraham was ninety-nine years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his fo****in.
[25]And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old when he was circumcised in the flesh of his fo****in.

Ishmael the Son of Abraham
Ishmael the circumcision mate to Abraham....
Genesis 17:26
[26]That very same day Abraham was circumcised, and his son Ishmael

Genesis 21:9-20
[9]And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, scoffing.
[10]Therefore she said to Abraham, “Cast out this bondwoman and her son; for the son of this bondwoman shall not be heir with my son, namely with Isaac.”
[11]And the matter was very displeasing in Abraham’s sight because of his son.
[12]But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.
[13]Yet I will also make a nation of the son of the bondwoman, because he is your seed.”
[14]So Abraham rose early in the morning, and took bread and a skin of water; and putting it on her shoulder, he gave it and the boy to Hagar, and sent her away. Then she departed and wandered in the Wilderness of Beersheba.
[15]And the water in the skin was used up, and she placed the boy under one of the shrubs.
[16]Then she went and sat down across from him at a distance of about a bowshot; for she said to herself, “Let me not see the death of the boy.” So she sat opposite him, and lifted her voice and wept.
[17]And God heard the voice of the lad. Then the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said to her, “What ails you, Hagar? Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the lad where he is.
[18]Arise, lift up the lad and hold him with your hand, for I will make him a great nation.”
[19]Then God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water. And she went and filled the skin with water, and gave the lad a drink.
[20]So God was with the lad; and he grew and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

The voice in Tears of Ismael was Louder
The voice was heard and God responded immediately.

God is faithful, may he answer your cries
May he wipe out your secret and public tears

The Mystery of Prayer....
I thank God for being God.
His thoughts are not our thoughts
I can go to him just as I am and he hears the cries of my heart even before I utter any wordhe knows my needs.

As I close 2025 I want to encourage someone, don't stop praying for the things you trust God for, even when your prayer partners, associates and groups give up on you...

Don't give up on your self.

Continue seeking God.

You don't need to package yourself to be answered, or pay for answers to come....
God is there..
God is aware of your needs...
God shall surely answer you according to his will.

Isaiah 55:7-11
[7]Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.
[8]“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
[9]“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.
[10]“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,
[11]So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

Matthew 6:5-8
[5]“And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
[6]But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
[7]And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
[8]“Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him.

3. Yet for some it is time to get deeper into the word of God.
4.and as you repair don't forget to treat yourself well
Health is your greatest wealth.

Greatest command
Jesus is awesome,.he summarised the 10 commandments into 2
1.Love God
2. Love your neighbor as you love yourself
Mathew 22:36_40
The challenge I have seen with many is the part of loving self, if you don't love yourself how do you love other people
To what measure do you love them?

From the Archives of stories of my walk with God.

Mom ,you are So blessed....

I was coming out of the office where I had worked for months, rushing to see how I could activate my SHA and not knowing a the letter ending my contract was hanging in the clouds awaiting my receipt on mail

I heard the voice of a young man and who sounded Hungry, the location that I was I didn't expect to meet a street person so I said thank you and started moving

He said again please buy me food
I told him come, but with lots of hesitation in my Spirit
As we were moving to a nearby Kiosk he said

"Aki mama nisaidie nitoke Street"

13 years in the street and I don't like it out here...

It is cold and scary at night , help me.

I told him I will give you an answer later not now.
I didn't know this was a call to a ministry I never knew about , and had no clue what God had in store for me.
I told him to give me 2 days I consult then we meet at the same spot I shall give him my answer.
I took the bus to town CBD and the Holy Spirit asked me why have you left the boy behind
His hope to meet Christ is in you.
I had 2 longest days of my life worried what if I don't find him again and he goes without meeting Christ
I repented to God and asked God to keep him safe.

The pain of a losing my contract was numbed for the 2 days because my focus was on this one soul that Christ wanted, so after 2 days were done I went back and found the boy waiting.
I was so happy because at least the guilt of leaving him behind without giving him Jesus left me.
We took him in to the church and he has given his life to Christ
A chat with him Yesterday drove me to this post
He told me
Mom initially i accepted Christ because i was tired of the street but now i want Jesus Christ as my personal saviour. I want Jesus.
I want to know how to pray
I want to get a Kiswahili bible to read every day
and now seriously i want to serve God.
All Glory be to God.
I pray May the Lord give me resources...
There are many in the street now wanting to join and change for good, I am looking for people who can support this worthy cause so that a shelter can be built, mattresses and sheets, duvets and clothing, and foodstuffs as they come out of street to meet with Christ Jesus they are rehabilitated and reunited with their family members and others getting work skills for worthy living in the market place.
Thank you Jesus because this is all in your Plan
Looking at the Transformation process of this one young man , I now understand better God has a plan in everything we encounter in life.

soul winning, if you want to be part of this don't hesitate to call
