Beloved Nairobi International Church family,
It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Rev. Gordon Bloodworth—our longtime missionary to Kenya, former pastor, and a key figure in establishing the NIC sanctuary—passed away yesterday, January 29, 2026, in the USA.
Rev. Bloodworth also pioneered the Discipleship College, through which many leaders were formed and equipped for ministry. His life and service left a lasting imprint on our church and the body of Christ in Kenya.
As a church family, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mama Glenda Bloodworth and the entire Bloodworth family. Let us stand together in prayer for God’s comfort and peace, and honor his legacy by continuing faithfully in discipleship and mission.
“Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints” (Psalm 116:15).
Further communication will be shared regarding funeral arrangements.
