Today I celebrate this great man of God, Evangelist Ezekiel Odero. One thing I deeply admire and have learned from him is the grace to stay focused.
So many things have happened since he came into the limelight, and he has faced intense warfare and countless distractions. Yet what continues to amaze me is his ability to remain focused on his calling, avoid distractions, and continue doing great things for God.
That level of focus, consistency, and commitment to the work of God is truly inspiring.
Today, I publicly honour a great servant of God — Evangelist Ezekiel Odero.

Jesus does not call people to follow Him because belief is easy, but because it is necessary for salvation, transformation, and eternal life. Throughout Scripture, Christ makes it clear that discipleship involves sacrifice, surrender, and perseverance. He said, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me” (Luke 9:23), showing that following Him requires commitment beyond comfort. Many turned away from Jesus when His teachings became difficult (John 6:66), yet Peter confessed, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68). Jesus also declared, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6), emphasizing that faith in Him is not merely optional but essential. Though the path is narrow and costly (Matthew 7:13–14), Christ calls people because only in Him are forgiveness, reconciliation with God, and true life found (Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17).JESUS LOVES YOU

There is a fool and a king in all of us,Be around people that entertain the king not the fool
The fool is drawn to pride, anger, lust, laziness, and destruction, while the king desires wisdom, discipline, purpose, and honor. The people around you will feed one side or the other. That is why Scripture warns us to guard our company carefully: “Do not be deceived: Bad company corrupts good character” (1 Corinthians 15:33). When you surround yourself with people who encourage prayer, wisdom, growth, and righteousness, they awaken the king within you. But people who entertain compromise, gossip, addiction, and rebellion strengthen the fool. Book of Proverbs says, “He who walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm” (Proverbs 13:20). Protect your spirit by staying close to those who call you higher, remind you of your purpose, and help you become the person God created you to be.

FOR YOU TO ENJOY JESUS HE MUST BE BOTH SAVIOUR AND LORD
Receiving Jesus Christ gives a person access to the promises, grace, and inheritance of God, because salvation opens the door into a relationship with Him. Through Christ, we become children of God, heirs of eternal life, and partakers of His covenant. But access alone is not the full experience. Walking in obedience is what allows a believer to live in the reality of what God has already made available. Many people have access to peace, victory, wisdom, favor, and spiritual growth through Christ, yet they do not experience them fully because they resist God’s instruction. Obedience aligns a person with the will of God and positions them to enjoy the manifestation of His promises. Just as the children of Israel were given the promised land yet still had to walk in faith and obedience to possess it, believers today must not only receive Jesus as Savior, but also follow Him as Lord. Access is given by grace, but experience is cultivated through obedience.

ACT FAITH AND DEPEND ON THE HOLY SPIRIT

“Why fake what can be real?”
God never called us to live behind appearances, empty religion, or borrowed spirituality. He desires truth in the inward parts. Many people try to look strong while they are broken, look holy while they are far from God, or speak faith while secretly living in fear. But throughout Scripture, God always responded to what was genuine. David was not perfect, but his repentance was real. The woman with the issue of blood did not pretend she was fine—she reached for Jesus in sincere faith. Blind Bartimaeus did not act dignified before the crowd; he cried out until mercy answered him. God can work with weakness that is honest, but He resists a life built on pretense. “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart” (Psalm 34:18). Real prayer brings real power. Real repentance brings real restoration. Real faith brings real results.
