**SPECIAL HEALING SUNDAY SERVICE**
!!* MY BLESSINGS MUST BE RELEASED*!!
“I declare that every blessing, promise, opportunity, and divine provision that God has ordained for my life must be released in Jesus’ name! I refuse to remain passive. I will arise in faith, press forward, overcome every opposition, and take hold of what God has prepared for me. What belongs to me by the grace and purpose of God shall not remain locked up. My season has come, my doors are opening, and my blessings must be released!”
MATHEW 11:12 From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.
MARK 8:22-25 They came to Bethsaida, and some people brought a blind man and begged Jesus to touch him. He took the blind man by the hand and led him outside the village. When he had spit on the man’s eyes and put his hands on him, Jesus asked, “Do you see anything?” He looked up and said, “I see people; they look like trees walking around.” Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eyes. Then his eyes were opened, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly.
MATHEW 15:21-28 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” Jesus did not answer a word. So, his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.” He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” “Yes, it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.
1 KINGS 18:41-45 And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So, Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said.
Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So, Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” Meanwhile, the sky grew black with clouds, the wind rose, a heavy rain started falling and Ahab rode off to Jezreel.
WHY WE HAVE DELAYED BLESSINGS
1. God’s time
God may not work according to our timetable, but His timing is always purposeful; when the appointed time comes, His promises unfold exactly as He intended.
2. The law of process
God often develops us gradually through seasons of learning, testing, obedience, and growth before bringing us into the fullness of what He has prepared for us.
3. Resistance (Your capacity in the spiritual realm)
1 Thessalonians 2:18
For we wanted to come to you—certainly I, Paul, did, again and again—but Satan blocked our way.
HOW TO OVERCOME RESISTANCE
a. Transformation
Transformation is the process of renewing your mind, becoming a new creation, and growing into the likeness of Christ.
b. Consistent prayers
Acts 10:1–5: Cornelius, a devout Roman officer who feared God and regularly prayed and gave to the needy, received a vision of an angel who instructed him to send for Simon Peter in Joppa.
c. Sacrifice
Abraham’s encounter on Mount Moriah became a turning point of blessing: through his faith and obedience in being willing to offer Isaac, God confirmed His covenant and promised to greatly bless and multiply his descendants.
d. Resilience
Choosing to remain steadfast through trials, knowing that perseverance builds spiritual maturity and prepares you for what God has destined for you.
