Psalms 32:1-2 TPT
What bliss belongs to the one
whose rebellion has been forgiven,
those whose sins are covered by blood.
What bliss belongs to those
who have confessed their corruption to God!
For he wipes their slates clean
and removes hypocrisy from their hearts.
*Prayer*
- Merciful, Ever-living God. You who repays iniquity to the third and fourth generation and you show your faithfulness to a thousand generations.
- Mercy is who you are. You identified yourself to Moses as The Lord God who is full of compassion and mercy, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. Thank you for in your mercy you found me. Thank you for paying the ransom I owed. Thank you for finding yourself a lamb in my place.
- Lord, Jesus thank you for dying on the cross for me. Your death reconciled me back to the Father again Thank you for being obedient even to death for my sake.
- Holy Spirit, I ask today that you would help me not take the Father's giving, the Saviour's sacrifice and your leading lightly. I ask that you help me be yielded enough to be molded into the image of Christ. I pray that your whispers in my ear and your impressions upon my heart over things that I need to do away with, company I need to forfeit, speech I need to forego, attitude I need to drop, mindset I need to shift, entertainment I need to banish out of my life, I will be willing to let go and have you imprint Christ's character in me.
- It is written that if I confess my sins, you are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I ask that you forgive me for (mention anything you feel you need to come clean for before God).
- Thank you for your forgiveness. Hold my hand and help me grow into maturity in you. And as you build your church, build me as well so that I can be a stable part of the whole as I live out my purpose in your kingdom.
Amen
