Enjoying the Word, please read the Bible text first and then the notes (Jeremiah 51V.26-33). BABYLON TO BE DESOLATE FOREVER: The future rebuilt Babylon will be totally destroyed in one hour. That was not a type error (Rev. Chapter 18). The future rebuilt Babylon will be left without habitation, as S***m and Gomorah were. It's leaders and military had become lazy, corrupt, and soft. The Holy Spirit describes them as becoming as women. The gates being unguarded and unlocked made the Babylonians easy prey.
