Welcome everyone to our study of Revelation chapter 9.
This is not an easy chapter. It speaks about trumpets, judgment, darkness, spiritual forces, and people who still refuse to repent. But we must not read Revelation with fear only. We must read it with understanding, humility, and hope.
Revelation is not written to scare believers. It is written to wake us up, strengthen our faith, and remind us that God is still in control even when the world looks dark.
Chapter 9 teaches us three important things:
God allows judgment, but He still sets limits.
Evil may operate, but it does not have full control.
The greatest danger is not trouble itself, but a heart that refuses to repent.
So as we study this chapter, let us not only ask, “What is happening in the world?” Let us also ask, “Lord, what are You saying to my heart?”
