Morning Devotion – 2 Timothy 1:13

“Hold on to the pattern of sound teaching that you heard from me, in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.”

Paul encouraged Timothy to remain faithful to what he had learned and not drift from the truth of God’s Word.

This is also an encouragement for us today.

We are called to hold firmly to sound teaching, allow God’s Word to shape our minds, and live according to His truth.

And how do we keep it?

By faith—trusting God and walking according to His Word.

By love—showing Christ’s character in how we treat others.

May God help us not only to know His Word but to live it daily, so that our lives point others to Jesus.

🌅 TODAY’S MORNING DEVOTION
📖 Mark 16:16

“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.”

One thing we need to understand is that God exists whether people believe in Him or not. Our belief does not bring Him into existence—it is our response to who He already is.

Jesus calls us to believe and remain in Him. We may not have seen Him physically, but we still trust Him.

Our faith should not depend on answered prayers, finances, emotions, or situations.

When things work out—keep believing.
When things don’t work out—keep believing.

Hold on to what you have learned and remain steadfast in Christ.

May God help us not to start in the Spirit and end in the flesh. May He give us grace to remain faithful until the end.

🌅 Morning Devotion — James 1:6

“But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt…” — James 1:6

This morning, God is reminding us to trust Him completely.
Not our plans.
Not our money.
Not people.
Not our own strength.

Faith without doubt moves the heart of God. Even when situations become difficult, continue holding on to Him because trusting God is never a mistake. 🙏🏾

People may fail. Situations may change. But God remains faithful forever.

Today, let your prayer be:
“Lord, help me trust You fully with all my heart.” ❤️

MORNING DEVOTION | Tuesday

📖 *"He trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel; so that after him was none like him among all the kings of Judah, nor any that were before him."*
— 2 Kings 18:5

Good morning, beloved! 🙏

Today's devotion takes us to the life of King Hezekiah — a man who stood out among ALL the kings of Judah. What made him so exceptional? One word: **TRUST.**

But there's something remarkable he did that we often overlook. Hezekiah brought down a high place called **Nehushtan** — the bronze serpent that Moses had made in the wilderness. This was not originally a bad thing. In fact, it was a God-ordained instrument of healing and remembrance. But over time, the people of Israel began to *worship* it — to burn incense to it — and a gift from God became an idol before God.

Hezekiah was sensitive enough in his spirit to recognise the difference.

🔥 A WORD FOR YOUR MORNING:

What are the **Nehushtans** in your life?

There are things God gave you — gifts, talents, relationships, positions, even spiritual experiences — that were meant to point you to Him. But subtly, quietly, they have become the thing you lean on, the thing you pursue, the thing you worship instead of God Himself.

✅ That gift of music that became more about your platform than His praise.
✅ That blessing of success that replaced your dependence on God.
✅ That relationship that became your peace instead of God.
✅ That ministry title that feeds your pride more than His people.

Hezekiah did not hesitate. He called it what it was and brought it down.

💪 THE CALL TO TRUST:

After tearing down the high places, Scripture says **God was with him.** That's the reward of radical trust. But trust is not comfortable — it is tested in the very moments when everything around you screams the opposite.

When nothing makes sense… trust.
When the answer is delayed… trust.
When fear is loud… trust.

*"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall make your paths straight."*
— Proverbs 3:5–6

*"He who trusts in the LORD is like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved."*
— Psalm 125:1

God is not a man that He should lie. He is faithful to every word He has spoken over your life. His track record has never failed — and it will not start today.

🙏 MORNING PRAYER:

Father, as I step into this day, give me the sensitivity to identify the high places in my life — the things I have idolised that were only meant to be gifts. Give me the courage of Hezekiah to bring them down. And above all, give me the grace to trust You completely — not with the parts I'm comfortable with, but with **all** my heart, all my soul, all my strength.

You are faithful. You are trustworthy. You will never leave me nor forsake me.

In Jesus' name. Amen. 🙏

🌿 Morning Devotion – Psalm 7:1 🌿

«“O Lord my God, I take refuge in You; save and deliver me from all who pursue me.” — Psalm 7:1»

In this world, troubles are guaranteed. There are moments when people may think God does not see, or that He is silent. But our God is neither blind nor weak. The Bible says His voice is mighty — mountains tremble at His presence.

When challenges come and situations become too heavy for us, we run to God because He alone has the final say. Governments may change, people may fail us, and the world may disappoint us, but God never changes. He remains faithful forever.

Our God is able to do the impossible:
✨ A virgin gave birth.
✨ Jesus walked on water.
✨ The sick were healed and the dead raised.
✨ Gideon defeated mighty armies with only 300 men.

What then is impossible with God?

Today, trust in Him completely. He knows tomorrow better than we do. He is our refuge, our protector, and our everlasting hope.

May God help us to rely on Him fully and place our trust in His unfailing power and love.

MORNING DEVOTION —

Romans 8:39
"Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Good morning, family! 🙏
God loved you before you were even born. He chose you. He ordained you. And here is the beautiful truth — He has never changed His mind about you. He is not confused. He is not double-minded. His love for you is everlasting.
But we have a choice to make. Just as Joshua stood before Israel and said, "Choose this day whom you will serve" — God is extending that same invitation to each of us today.
Today, we choose God. We choose to serve Him, to obey Him, to surrender all to Him — regardless of what life throws our way. Because He is faithful. He never abandons His children. He is always there to guide, to heal, and to deliver.
Jesus reminded us in Matthew that if we love Him, we will obey His commandments. Our obedience is our love made visible.
🙏 Father, grant us grace today to choose You wholeheartedly — in every moment, in every circumstance. Amen.

🌅 MORNING DEVOTION | Galatians 2:16
✝ Clothed in Righteousness ✝

"Know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ… because by observing the law no one will be justified." — Galatians 2:16

This morning we are reminded of the most liberating truth in all of Scripture — we cannot earn our salvation. The only price for sin is death, and that price was too great for any of us to pay. But because God loved us so deeply, He stepped into our place. He carried our cross.

He has clothed us with His righteousness — a garment as white as snow. Isaiah heard it: "Come, let us reason together. Though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be white as snow." (Isaiah 1:18)

Because we have been made righteous, we are now called to walk in righteousness — not to earn God's love, but to express it. The righteous shall live by faith. Not by striving. Not by performance. By faith in Jesus Christ.

Today, like Joshua challenged Israel: choose who you will serve. You know the right path. Walk in it. You better die trying than never attempt at all.

MORNING DEVOTION – GOD’S PLAN IN THE MIDST OF PAIN

Good morning, and welcome to today’s morning devotion.

Today, we are reflecting on the book of Genesis, chapter 50, verse 20.

The Bible says:

"But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive." — Genesis 50:20 (NKJV)

This is Joseph speaking to his brothers—the very people who betrayed him, sold him, and caused him deep pain. Humanly speaking, Joseph had every reason to be bitter, to seek revenge, or to treat them the same way they treated him.

But Joseph chose a different response.

He understood something powerful: that his life was not in the hands of men, but in the hands of God.

Yes, people intended evil against him. Yes, he went through betrayal, rejection, false accusation, and suffering. But through it all, God was working behind the scenes, orchestrating a greater purpose—one that would eventually save many lives.

And this speaks directly to us today.

Many times in life, as believers, we will face situations where people misunderstand us, mistreat us, or even deliberately try to harm us. But what truly matters is not what they do to us—it is how we respond.

Joseph did not allow pain to define him. He allowed purpose to shape him.

He chose forgiveness over bitterness.
He chose wisdom over revenge.
He chose to see God’s hand where others only saw harm.

And today, God is calling us to do the same.

The Bible reminds us in Jeremiah 29:11:

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Even when things do not make sense… God has a plan.

Even when you are in the process… God is working.

Even when you are in pain… God has not left you.

Romans 8:28 also assures us:

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

Not some things—all things.

The betrayal… the delay… the disappointment… the wilderness seasons—God is able to use all of it for your good and for His glory.

So today, as you begin your day, I want to encourage you:

Choose to respond rightly.
Choose to trust God’s process.
Choose to believe that your life is not random—there is a divine purpose unfolding.

You may be in a valley right now. You may be walking through a difficult season. But the Word of God reminds us:

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." — Psalm 23:4 (NKJV)

God is with you.

He will not leave you.
He will not forsake you.
He is working something greater than what you can currently see.

So be encouraged today.

Walk in faith.
Walk in love.
Walk in victory.

Because what the enemy meant for evil… God is turning it for your good.

Let us pray:

Father, we thank You for Your Word this morning.
We thank You because You are a God of purpose, a God of plans, and a God who never fails.

Help us, Lord, to trust You even when we do not understand.
Help us to respond with love, with wisdom, and with grace, even when we are hurt.

Strengthen our hearts today, and remind us that You are working all things together for our good.

We surrender our lives to You, and we choose to walk in faith.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌅 Morning Devotion – John 6:68 (NKJV)
“But Simon Peter answered Him, ‘Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.’”
Today, we reflect on a powerful question from Peter: “Lord, to whom shall we go?”
When we look at the world today, it offers many things—wealth, fame, success, and pleasure. But behind these things, there is often a hidden cost. The enemy may promise everything, but in the end, he takes more than he gives. His path leads to destruction, emptiness, and ultimately death.
But Jesus is different.
He does not just give temporarily—He gives eternal life. He loves us deeply, not for a moment, but continually. His love is not based on what we do; it flows from who He is. He died for us, saved us, and still walks with us daily.
The Bible says, “He whom the Son sets free is free indeed.” And yes—we are free in Christ. But this freedom is not a licence to sin; it is the freedom to choose Him willingly.
It is like a servant who has been set free but realises that his purpose, his peace, and his provision were always found with his master. So he chooses to remain—not out of obligation, but out of love and understanding.
Today, we stand in that same place.
With everything the world presents before us, we must ask ourselves:
“To whom shall I go?”
There is no one like Jesus.
No one who gives life like Him.
No one who loves like Him.
The world may offer you everything—but at the cost of your soul.
As Jesus said:
“For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” (Mark 8:36 NKJV)
So today, choose Him again.
Choose to follow Him.
Choose life.
As you begin your day, may your heart remain anchored in Christ. May He strengthen you to carry your cross daily and to walk faithfully with Him.
Prayer:
Lord, today we choose You. There is no one else we can go to. You alone have the words of eternal life. Strengthen us to follow You daily, to reject the things of this world, and to remain faithful to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

🌅 Morning Devotion –

Matthew 9:18
“While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.’” (Matthew 9:18, NKJV)
There are moments in life when we reach a wall—when everything seems to stop working, when hope fades, and what we once believed in appears to have died. It is in such moments that discouragement can easily take hold.
Yet this morning, we are encouraged by the faith of this ruler. Despite the reality before him—his daughter being dead—he chose to believe. He came to Jesus with confidence and said, “Come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live.” That is faith beyond circumstances. That is hope that refuses to die.
In the same way, we are called to hold on. Even when things are not working as expected, even when dreams seem to be fading, we must continue to trust that God is able. He is not limited by what limits us. What looks impossible to man is possible with Him.
Do not lose hope today. When others speak discouragement, choose faith. When situations appear final, remember that Jesus still brings life.
Hold on to Him—He is able to restore, revive, and bring life where there was none.
