This is the most arrested person in kenyan history. Imagine akipelekwa kotini kabla ya kusomewa mashtaka, huwa anasomea serikali kwanza, inabidi the whole court kunanyamazwa hadi amalize. Halafu aliapa hatawahi nyamazishwa na wakoloni weusi. He's very eloquent when passing his message. Kuna wakati alivuruga shughuli za mahakama hadi jaji akaamuru atupwe nje.

BREAKING NEWS
Reports reaching my desk indicate that Joseph Gaitho, the controversial TikToker popularly known as King Tizian, was robbed at gunpoint in Ruiru.

In a CCTV video that has since gone viral, the footage shows Tizian as a passenger on a motorbike talking to someone on the phone. The motorbike arrives and Tizian alights. In the blink of an eye, another motorbike, which was seemingly trailing them, arrives with three young men on board. They alight, rob Tizian and his boda boda rider at gunpoint, and flee. Tizian is seen helplessly trying to follow them, while his boda boda rider is left stranded since his motorbike key was also taken.

Kenyans will never forget how Kiambu Women rep ended up betraying Gen Zs, the same segment of the society she had sworn to defend prior to his election. I find it a big mockery wearing traditional Kikuyu attire while our elderly women and men are being beaten and chased like dogs in Githunguri merely for celebrating their culture.

Kenyan worship minister Paul Mwai has fired back at his critics, and he's doing it with a powerful anthem. In the song, Mwai warns those targeting him to "prepare for the consequences," as God will fight for him. He delivers a bold message: "Woe to you, my haters - God is preparing a feast for me, right in front of you, and you'll face the consequences."

Mwai joins the ranks of gospel artists who've faced online trolling and accusations. But instead of engaging in keyboard battles, he's taking the high road, using music to address his foes.

On July 30, 2025, Benard Gatheru, a Facebook blogger, came across a post written by Simon Mwangi Muthiora, accusing him (Gatheru) of 'stealing' and 'diluting' Martha Mwihaki Hinga's content. In the post, Muthiora claimed that Benard was a con artist fleecing upcoming artists of their money, without providing evidence or naming a single victim he had allegedly conned. Ironically, the same post was shared by a then mysterious and notorious page called Martha Mwihaki Hinga, which had earned its notoriety by naming and shaming 'sinful' gospel ministers 'defiling' the holy altar. Benard, in reaction to that, sent a letter to Muthiora demanding that he either name whom he had conned or pull down the false allegations. Muthiora ignored him, prompting Benard to seek the truth and help at the DCI office. Once there, the DCI arrested Benard and treated him as the main suspect, bearing in mind that Martha Hinga defamation cases had piled up and the officers there were looking for him or her. Surprisingly, the DCI leaked the information about Benard's presence at their offices to Muthiora, who published more false information with the headline "Breaking News: Martha Mwihaki Hinga has been arrested and is awaiting arraignment. Meanwhile, the DCI were busy harassing Benard. Benard, on realising that his life was in danger, quickly and urgently contacted his lawyer and a close relative before his two mobile phones were confiscated. The close relative, who works (I won't disclose where), then sent IPOA officials to the offices where he was held. The DCI officers, on realising they had no strong case against him, hurriedly drafted a charge sheet claiming that Benard was caught trying to preach and pray for murder suspects without a preaching license. In the case, Benard wanted to include Muthiora as a person of interest in the whole scenario, but Muthiora refused to attend the hearing, noting that he could be exposed badly. Later on, it emerged, as Benard got a chance to peruse DCI files to prepare his defence, that indeed, Muthiora owned the original, notorious Martha Hinga account and was trying to punish Benard for 'stealing' Martha's content and posting in a facebook group bearing the name, "Martha Hinga Official fanpage" (Parody) versus Martha Mwihaki Hinga account (Original owned by Muthiora). Muthiora had been trying to link Benard to the same pseudo account. Benard disowned all accounts with names other than his stage or legal names. However, one wonders why Muthiora fought so hard to protect the Martha Mwihaki Hinga page from alleged impersonation.

One day, a woman named Wambui Otieno—a wealthy widow—was living alone in Kileleshwa, one of Nairobi’s most affluent estates. At 67 years old, Wambui, the widow of a veteran politician, enjoyed a comfortable life, but she had a small problem: her bathroom shower needed fixing.

Concerned, she asked a close friend to help her find a qualified plumber. Soon enough, a young man named Simon Mbugua, just 25 years old, was recommended and sent to her home.

When Simon arrived, Wambui warmly welcomed him and showed him the faulty shower. With skill and confidence, he quickly got to work and fixed the issue. However, Wambui wanted to be absolutely sure everything was functioning perfectly.

With a playful curiosity, she suggested that Simon test the shower himself while she observed. Eager to prove his work was flawless, Simon agreed without hesitation. He stepped in and turned on the water and started bathing in his birtday suit, confirming that everything was working just as it should. This time, Wambui was salivating for what she was seeing.

In an unexpected turn, Wambui, amused and impressed, jokingly asked if she could join him. Mbugua nodded and Wambui joined the fray. What began as a simple repair turned into an unusual but memorable moment for them both. They shared laughter and a sense of spontaneity that neither had anticipated.

Delighted with the excellent service, Wambui rewarded Simon generously, paying him double his fee. But beyond the payment, something deeper had begun—a unique connection that neither of them could ignore.

Simon, young and intrigued, found himself drawn to Wambui’s bold spirit, while Wambui discovered a refreshing companionship in his presence. What started as a routine house call slowly blossomed into something more meaningful.

And that, as they say, was the beginning of their love story—the rest is history.

Kenyan gospel minister Philip Kimani has opened up about the demise of his second marriage. In a heart-wrenching interview on Kameme FM, Philip appeared to blame himself as 'the problem' in the marriage, sparking a wave of empathy from his fans. His courageous decision to share his story publicly is a beacon of hope for those trapped in unhappy or abusive marriages, reminding them that it's okay to walk away when it doesn't work out - after all, life goes on, and sometimes it pours before it shines again.

Philip's honesty underscores a vital truth: marriage failure isn't a reflection of one's strength or weakness; it's often a complex interplay of two individuals navigating life's challenges together. As they say, it takes two to tango, and sometimes, despite best efforts, the music just doesn't sync up.
