*Remembering the Late Joshua Kagema Muraya*
Joshua Kagema Muraya will forever be remembered as a daredevil comedian who turned criticism into fuel. As many have said of him, he picked up every stone his critics threw and used it to build his foundation.

Kagema first shot to the limelight with a single video of himself speaking in a soft, girlish tone. In it, women were jokingly asking him for the “secret oil” he used to keep his face smooth and youthful.
His answer went viral: _“If you want a smooth, shiny face, eat githeri and use TikTok filters.”_
The clip exploded online under the hashtag * *, and just like that, a star was born.

Kagema also fought the stigma faced by men without beards, with big bellies, and with feminine voices. The internet nicknamed him “Stacy” — then later “Wa Cicellia,” after a classic Kikuyu mother known for gossip. Instead of shrinking, Kagema embraced both names and built a brand around *‘Wa Cicellia’* — the loud, dramatic village gossip everyone loved to watch.

He went on to share the stage with celebrated Kikuyu actors like Wa Kairu and Dada Sarah, and his star kept shining brighter. He was even planning to launch his own comedy group under the *Wa Cicellia Show*.

But death is cruel. It has cut short his dreams, his laughter, and the many stories he was yet to tell.

_Rest in peace, Wa Cicellia. Your light may be gone, but your laughter will continue echoing in our hearts.

My fellow Kenyans, you need to stop killing thieves. If you don’t, you will be jailed for first-degree murder.

There is *no law in Kenya that says “thieves must be killed.”*
Yesterday, I watched disturbing scenes from Utawala where two young boys were subjected to mob justice and burned alive with tires. Anyone captured in those videos who took part in that barbaric act could spend the rest of their life in prison if the law takes its course.

And let me be clear — I am *not defending thieves*.
But we have hundreds of cases of mistaken identity where innocent boys are killed, only for the truth to come out later. Remember the Mlolongo boys who were burned?

The irony is painful.
You burn a person for stealing a 12k phone, yet you cheer and vote for politicians who steal billions — money meant for your future and your children’s future.

That same energy you use to burn a phone thief is the same energy you should take to State House to burn the big thief sitting there. Or go burn Kasongo and Obando.
You cannot burn someone for stealing your handbag, then protect someone who steals hospital money like Duale.
Go burn Mandago for stealing billions from Eldoret residents. But you won’t. You’ll probably vote for him again in 2027.

Let’s be serious. One day, it’s you, the citizens, who will be arrested.

If there’s anyone who has borne the brunt of online attacks and trolling, it’s Karangu.
He’s been blamed for his husband’s brother’s death, and heavily trolled after his messy, very public separation from his wife, Triza.
At one point, Oakland-based critic of fake preachers, Shiru wa Oakland, even blamed CFF founder Bishop Harrison Ng’ang’a for telling Karangu “Shaitani akulinde.” She said that remark marked the beginning of Karangu Muraya’s downfall.

If there is someone who faced online bullies and trolls head on, then it's none other than Kagema Muraya. The late Kagema Muraya once came to the limelight after people started bulling him because of of his feminine looks, mannerisms and characteristics. But the guy addressed the bullies in a very funny way that his responses always sparked massive, palpable laughter online. This is what he said "You, bullies, claimed that I have a high pinched voice, that I speak like a woman. You asked me to swallow a live Roaster, so that it can adjust my bass. I did exactly that but it never worked. Now you want me to put my tongue on the line of stinging ants? I won't dare". This guy, probably inspired by his brother, Karangu Muraya, who has withered and braved online scandals and storms for the past five years, learned to use the stones thrown at him to build his brand.

*RELIGION: MENTAL AND COLONIAL SLAVERY OF AFRICA*

If you’re looking for people misled by religious lies, look no further than Africa.

The cunning Europeans and Arabs arrived on our shores and found what they called "primitive" people — gullible Africans.
Guns failed them. So they tried something smarter. Something deadlier.
*Mental colonization.*

That’s how two mysterious books were authored and delivered to us: *The Bible and the Qur’an*.
They told us to abandon our ancestors, our gods, our culture. And we did.
While they scrambled for our gold, oil, copper, and fertile land, they handed us myths about Muhammad, Allah, Jesus, Joseph, and Jehovah to memorize.

Without a second thought, we embraced them.
The very gods abandoned by their creators became our full-time obsession.
Any African who dared to question this new mental slavery was silenced — by sword, jail, or sermon.

Ask yourself: How did Arabs take oil-rich North Africa?
How did Europeans take South Africa?
*The Bible and the Qur’an have your answers.*

While our colonizers built nations, they told us:
_"Ignore this world. It’s vanity. It’s Satanic. Look up to the clouds. Jesus/Allah is building you a mansion of gold. The end is near. Repent!"_
And we believed it. Blindly. Desperately.

Now look at us.
Terrorism. Poverty. Corruption. Ethnicity. Unemployment. War. Famine. Dictatorship.
We pray for miracles while other nations build factories.
We risk our lives crossing oceans to Europe, the UAE, and America — only to be labeled _"illegal immigrants"_.
Yet when they come here, we call them _"tourists"_ and roll out the red carpet.

We trample on real wealth: fertile soil, gold, oil, copper — chasing ghosts in the sky.
Instead of rejecting this poison, we became its loudest missionaries.
We now spread the very religions their founders are quietly abandoning back home.

Religion is intellectual poison.
It makes a person dumb to everything except what he read in a book written by colonizers.
It spreads faster than COVID.
And it thrives best in poverty, ignorance, and hopelessness.

Today, Africa has *more churches and mosques than factories and colleges*.
In those caves, self-proclaimed "men of God" have found the perfect farm.
They milk us dry.
They call us _"sheep"_ — which really means _"stupid"_.
Then they tell us to _"sow a seed in the pastor’s field and reap in your own field someday."_

At the right moment, they quote the colonizer’s book like it’s God’s direct command.
They become flashy millionaires.
We become hopeless beggars.
All while we wait for a golden house being built by foreign craftsmen: Jesus, Allah, Jehovah, Mohammed, Mary.
Honestly? That joke makes me sneeze.

*Religion and pyramid schemes are the same coin:*
1. Both promise you riches if you give money first
2. Both use sweet lies to trap the desperate
3. Both thrive in poverty and hopelessness
4. Both avoid taxes because "it's God's work"
5. Both produce a few millionaires and a million broken believers

*Enough.*
Let our colonizers come back and collect their religions. We are tired.
