Wilson, Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Freetown including the North, officially blessed and commissioned church planters at St. John Anglican Church, Brookfields following the Healthy Church Training organized in partnership with Anglican Missions Africa.

What a weekend it was.
The St. Mary’s Ukia Girls Mammoth Rally edition was nothing short of impactful. Over 31 schools represented, with approximately 3,200 students gathered under one atmosphere of worship, prayer, and the Word.

You could sense it clearly, God is stirring something deep within this generation. Hearts were awakened, lives challenged, and the fire for Christ ignited afresh.

This is more than an event. This is revival taking root in schools.
May the flame keep burning for the glory of God. 🔥

What a beautiful and fulfilling day it was this weekend at St. Thomas Girls, Kilifi.

The AMA team had the opportunity to minister to the students through the School Outreach & Discipleship Department, and the response was truly encouraging. The girls were attentive, receptive, and deeply engaged throughout the sessions, and you could sense how much the message resonated with them.

One of the most touching moments of the outreach was seeing 12 students surrender their lives to Christ. Moments like these remind us that God is still reaching hearts and drawing young people to Himself.

We thank God for every student who attended, every seed planted, and every life touched today. Kindly keep these girls in prayer as they continue growing in their walk with Christ.

Ministry on the Move Across The Peninsular in FreeTown

Today, the delegation from AMA ,Relay Trust and together with the diocesan leadership of The Anglican Diocese of Freetown took the ministry On The Move through the Peninsular Archdeaconry in a powerful pastoral outreach mission.

The team made pastoral visits to churches across the archdeaconry, seeking to better understand the diversity, realities, and unique needs of the parishes on the ground. More importantly, the visits created moments of deep fellowship, prayer, encouragement, and spiritual connection with clergy, laity, and the wider community.

Throughout the journey, God moved in remarkable ways as many experienced healing, renewed assurance, restoration, and fresh hope. The atmosphere in every station reflected a Church alive with faith and expectation.

Indeed, God is on the move across the Peninsular Archdeaconry.

Women of purpose, women equipped for mission.

These are highlights from the Women’s Training held at Buchifi Archdeaconry in the Diocese of Mumias on 6th–7th May 2026. We give glory to God for the 49 women who faithfully attended and participated in the training sessions.

It was a powerful time of learning, encouragement, fellowship, and spiritual empowerment as women were equipped for effective ministry and service in the Church and community.

We sincerely thank everyone who stood with us in prayer and support. Your prayers continue to bear fruit.

The training was facilitated by Rev. Cpt. Patience Wanzala, Director of Training at Anglican Missions Africa.

Healthy Church Training Concludes with Open-Air Crusade in Sierra Leone

The final day of the Healthy Church Training seminar in the Anglican Diocese of Freetown transitioned from classroom engagement into active mission outreach through a powerful open-air crusade held today ahead of tomorrow’s grand climax.

The training, facilitated by Anglican Missions Africa in partnership with Relay Trust, has focused on equipping clergy, evangelists, and church leaders with practical tools for healthy, mission-driven ministry.

Today’s crusade brought the message of Christ beyond the walls of the church and into the community, reflecting the core heartbeat of the training — a healthy church actively engaged in evangelism and discipleship.

A total of 30 souls surrendered their lives to Christ during the outreach, marking a significant moment of spiritual renewal and celebration among the mission teams and local believers.

The atmosphere was filled with worship, prayer, testimonies, and the preaching of the Gospel as participants put into practice the lessons learned throughout the week on evangelism, witness, and sustainable mission.

The crusade is expected to culminate tomorrow with another major gathering as the mission teams continue reaching out to the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
