Advent is a period of patient waiting. We await the coming of the King of Peace to dwell in our hearts. We could take it as a moment of *reflecting, re-examining, and reimagining* our lives amidst our busy schedules. Through daily reflections from Dec 3 to Christmas vigil, we hope to get an impetus for *the more*, as we also conduct our weekly online examen exploring new and different versions of the examen as found in the book _Reimagining the Ignatian Examen_. With a spirit of magnanimity, let's look forward to the graces of the newborn King🤴

🌍🕊️ "Let Justice and Peace Flow" 🌿 is the inspiring theme for Season of Creation 2023! This ecumenical celebration runs from September 1 (World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation) to October 4 (feast of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of the environment). Magis Eastern Africa is excited to join the global community in engaging with weekly reflections throughout this season. 🌱✨

🌟✨ We've just wrapped up an incredible journey at our Contemplative Leaders workshop, which came to an end today, August 27th. 🙌🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

📜 Theme: "A Return to the Basics - The Magis Identity."

God freely created us so that we might , , and him in this life and be happy with him forever. God's purpose in creating us is to draw forth from us a response of and here on earth, so that we may attain our goal of with him in heaven.
All the things in this world are created for us, to be the means by which we can come to know him better, love him more surely, and serve him more faithfully.
As a result, we ought to appreciate and use these gifts of God insofar as they help us toward our goal of loving service and union with God.
