This last week, the disciple-making team held a training in a new target region! In the wake of the training, teammates Sam and BJ's core team in this new target region started 40 new DBS groups and 4 churches are now using Discovery Bible Studies in their Sunday morning services! They will begin meeting with their core team weekly, as they discover, obey, and share the word together! God is on the move! Join us and praying over this new region!

Teammate BJ Leonard led an experienced church group from DFCC in Decatur, IL. A group that has historically focused on medical trips in our team's Kajiado region, BJ hoped to cast a new vision for the church. The group traveled to many of KCAT's target regions, seeing new sides of the ministry and meeting many new Kenyan partners. They spent a couple days in Nandi, getting to participate in one of our advanced movement catalyst gatherings, brushing shoulders with some Disciple-makers that have over 20 generations of groups and have planted dozens is churches! Join us in praying that DFCC catches the vision and takes what they learned and experienced home!

"We have movement... Now what?" This is the question our team has been asking over the last several months as we discern next steps for our disciple-making movements. This last month, Joel and Eric, along with a few of our advanced catalysts, attended an Advanced Movement Gathering in Nairobi to collaborate and learn from over 120 movement leaders from 20 different countries worldwide. This gathering has helped prepare our team for the next phase of ministry. God is doing big things. We are praying to see our movements become a movement of movements. Join us as we pray for God's protection and guidance over the movements!

This last week, teammates Joe Cluff and Joel Williams collaborated with local DMM strategist, Daniel Letting, on a level 2 DMM training! Join us in praying for the seeds that were planted!

Attendees were discovery Bible study (DBS) facilitators from within a network of over 400 groups, spanning 4 different counties, as well as two other teams of DMM strategists who were hoping to retool and evaluate their approaches. Trainees strengthened their biblical literacy, learned new disciple-making tools, and were strengthened by the reports and testimonies of fellow disciple- makers. This network of groups has been 7 years in the making, hundreds of hours of driving, coaching, and training, and is the answered prayers of dozens of believers!
