[2]Tuje mbele zake kwa shukrani,
Tumfanyie shangwe kwa zaburi.
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
[3]Kwa kuwa BWANA ni Mungu mkuu,
Na Mfalme mkuu juu ya miungu yote.
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
[6]Njoni, tuabudu, tusujudu,

Biblia. Warumi 13:1-7
[1]Kila mtu na aitii mamlaka iliyo kuu; kwa maana hakuna mamlaka isiyotoka kwa Mungu; na ile iliyopo umeamriwa na Mungu.
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
[2]Hivyo amwasiye mwenye mamlaka hushindana na agizo la Mungu; nao washindanao watajipatia hukumu.
Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
[3]Kwa maana watawalao hawatishi watu kwa sababu ya matendo mema, bali kwa sababu ya matendo mabaya. Basi, wataka usimwogope mwenye mamlaka? Fanya mema, nawe utapata sifa kwake;
For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:
[4]kwa kuwa yeye ni mtumishi wa Mungu kwako kwa ajili ya mema. Lakini ufanyapo mabaya, ogopa; kwa maana hauchukui upanga bure; kwa kuwa ni mtumishi wa Mungu, amlipizaye kisasi mtenda mabaya kwa ajili ya ghadhabu.
For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.
[5]Kwa hiyo ni lazima kutii, si kwa sababu ya ile ghadhabu tu, ila na kwa sababu ya dhamiri.
Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
[6]Kwa sababu hiyo tena mwalipa kodi; kwa kuwa wao ni wahudumu wa Mungu, wakidumu katika kazi iyo hiyo.
For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
[7]Wapeni wote haki zao; mtu wa kodi, kodi; mtu wa ushuru, ushuru; astahiliye hofu, hofu; astahiliye heshima, heshima.
Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

[6]Twekeni bendera kuelekea Sayuni; kimbieni mpate kuwa salama, msikawie; kwa maana nitaleta mabaya toka kaskazini, na maangamivu makuu.
Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.
[7]Simba ametoka katika kichaka chake, ndiye aangamizaye mataifa; ameanza kushika njia, ametoka katika mahali pake; ili aifanye nchi yako kuwa ukiwa, miji yako ifanywe maganjo, asibaki mwenyeji ndani yake.
The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.
[8]Kwa sababu hiyo jifungeni nguo za magunia; ombolezeni na kulia kwa uchungu; kwa maana hasira kali ya BWANA haikugeuka na kutuacha.

[3]Kwa hiyo nawaarifu, ya kwamba hakuna mtu anenaye katika Roho wa Mungu, kusema, Yesu amelaaniwa; wala hawezi mtu kusema, Yesu ni Bwana, isipokuwa katika Roho Mtakatifu.
Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
[4]Basi pana tofauti za karama; bali Roho ni yeye yule.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
[5]Tena pana tofauti za huduma, na Bwana ni yeye yule.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
[6]Kisha pana tofauti za kutenda kazi, bali Mungu ni yeye yule azitendaye kazi zote katika wote.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
[7]Lakini kila mmoja hupewa ufunuo wa Roho kwa kufaidiana.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
[8]Maana mtu mmoja kwa Roho apewa neno la hekima; na mwingine neno la maarifa, apendavyo Roho yeye yule;
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
[9]mwingine imani katika Roho yeye yule; na mwingine karama za kuponya katika Roho yule mmoja;
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
[10]na mwingine matendo ya miujiza; na mwingine unabii; na mwingine kupambanua roho; mwingine aina za lugha; na mwingine tafsiri za lugha;
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
[11]lakini kazi hizi zote huzitenda Roho huyo mmoja, yeye yule, akimgawia kila mtu peke yake k**a apendavyo yeye.
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

[7]BWANA ni mwema, ni ngome siku ya taabu; naye huwajua hao wamkimbiliao.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
[8]Lakini kwa gharika ifurikayo atapakomesha kabisa mahali pake, na kuwafuatia adui zake hata gizani.
But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.
[10]Kwa maana wangawa k**a miiba iliyotatana, na kunyweshwa kana kwamba ni katika kunywa kwao, wataliwa kabisa k**a mabua makavu.

Naam, njoni, nunueni divai na maziwa,
Bila fedha na bila thamani.
Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
[2]Kwani kutoa fedha kwa ajili ya kitu ambacho si chakula?
Na mapato yenu kwa kitu kisichoshibisha?
Nisikilizeni kwa bidii, mle kilicho chema,
Na kujifurahisha nafsi zenu kwa unono.
Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
[3]Tegeni masikio yenu, na kunijia;

Behold, thou shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
[6]Mtafuteni BWANA, maadamu anapatikana,
Mwiteni, maadamu yu karibu;
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:
[7]Mtu mbaya na aache njia yake,
Na mtu asiye haki aache mawazo yake;
Na amrudie BWANA,
Naye atamrehemu;
Na arejee kwa Mungu wetu,
Naye atamsamehe kabisa.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
[8]Maana mawazo yangu si mawazo yenu, wala njia zenu si njia zangu; asema BWANA.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.
[9]Kwa maana k**a vile mbingu zilivyo juu sana kuliko nchi, kadhalika njia zangu zi juu sana kuliko njia zenu, na mawazo yangu kuliko mawazo yenu.

For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
[12]Mwaonaje? Mtu akiwa na kondoo mia, mmoja akampotea, je! Hawaachi wale tisa na tisini, akaenda milimani, na kumtafuta yule aliyepotea?
How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
[13]Hata akipata kumwona, amin, nawaambia, amfurahia huyo zaidi, kuliko wale tisa na tisini wasiopotea.
And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
[14]Vivyo hivyo haipendezi mbele za Baba yenu aliye mbinguni kwamba mmoja wa wadogo hawa apotee.
Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

[1]Vita vyatoka wapi, na mapigano yaliyoko kati yenu yatoka wapi? Si humu, katika tamaa zenu zifanyazo vita katika viungo vyenu?
From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
[2]Mwatamani, wala hamna kitu, mwaua na kuona wivu, wala hamwezi kupata. Mwafanya vita na kupigana, wala hamna kitu kwa kuwa hamwombi!
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
[3]Hata mwaomba, wala hampati kwa sababu mwaomba vibaya, ili mvitumie kwa tamaa zenu.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
[4]Enyi wazinzi, hamjui ya kwamba kuwa rafiki wa dunia ni kuwa adui wa Mungu? Basi kila atakaye kuwa rafiki wa dunia hujifanya kuwa adui wa Mungu.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
[5]Au mwadhani ya kwamba maandiko yasema bure? Huyo Roho akaaye ndani yetu hututamani kiasi cha kuona wivu?
Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
[6]Lakini hutujalia sisi neema iliyozidi; kwa hiyo husema, Mungu huwapinga wajikuzao, bali huwapa neema wanyenyekevu.
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
[7]Basi mtiini Mungu. Mpingeni Shetani, naye atawakimbia.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
[8]Mkaribieni Mungu, naye atawakaribia ninyi. Itakaseni mikono yenu, enyi wenye dhambi, na kuisafisha mioyo yenu, enyi wenye nia mbili.
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
[9]Huzunikeni na kuomboleza na kulia. Kucheka kwenu na kugeuzwe kuwa kuomboleza, na furaha yenu kuwa hamu.
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
[10]Jidhilini mbele za Bwana, naye atawakuza.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
