Salvation in religion: The saving of the soul and restoration of soul.
It is a free gift from God and is received through faith

MEANING OF SALVATION
1.Being saved from the penalty of sin.
2.We are sanctified. We are able to say no to all kinds of sin.(2 Tim 4:7, Titus 2:11-14)
3. We are saved from the allure/attraction of sin
4.It gives us glorification (Matthew 25:46)

BENEFITS OF SALVATION
We are made sons of God (Rom 3:26
I am a chosen one

People belonging to God.
