Today is Pentecost day whereby we are marking 50 days after Easter. Our focus is from the book of ACTS 2:1-12. The Holy spirit continues the ministry of Jesus: 1. It is a ministry of healing. 2.A ministry of salvation. 3.A ministry of hope. 4.A ministry of renewal and refreshment. 5.A ministry of prayer. 6.A ministry of unity. N/B Not everybody in the room was filled by the Holy Spirit but only those who accepted, those who had faith and were ready to accept strange tongues. Believers were together in the day of Pentecost. If the Holy spirit lives in us, we will be together in unity and work in oneness. It is time we start getting busy doing what Jesus has called us to do and be united because we are one body in Christ. Let us not follow worldly desires but let us allow the Holy Spirit to use us and lead us. Let us be sensitive to God's Spirit in us. He cannot pray in us unless we allow Him to do so. Therefore brethren, the fruits of the Holy spirit are: Love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self control (Gal. 5:22-23) May God help us as we apply them in our lives.
