REAL TALK, REAL PEOPLE!

Does your church talk about mental health, recovery, financial problems, marriage? If those conversations are not coming up already in the normal rhythm of your church, then people are thinking, 'These people are too holy for me to belong."

POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS—NOT THE VESSEL (Acts 3:11–16)

After the miracle, the crowd was amazed… but they got it wrong.
They looked at Peter and John like they were the source.
Peter shut it down immediately, “Why are you staring at us as if we made this happen?” (v.12)

That same mistake still happens today:
• We elevate preachers
• We idolize the “ANOINTED MAN OF GOD”
• We equate results with personal greatness
But here’s the truth: A wire carries electricity… but it is NOT the power source.
Disconnect it—and it’s just ordinary.
The vessel is not the power, the name of Jesus is!

And then Peter swiftly moved to the core: “Repent therefore and be converted…” (Acts 3:17–26). God’s blessings and breakthroughs are not ends in themselves, they are invitations to transformation!

DIVINITY REVEALED IN THE ORDINARY

Text: Luke 2:7-“And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.”

Christmas does not tell us how prepared the world was for Jesus—it tells us how determined God was to save us. The birth of Jesus took place at the ordinary and in the ordinary.
