Yesterday, the Sunday school kids taught us that we shouldn't let work, weather, weariness, or worry keep you from worship. If Christ didn’t give excuses to save you, don’t give excuses to seek Him. Be in church, no matter what.

‭Matthew 19:14 NIV‬
[14] Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

John 4:23-24 But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. [24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

DAY 1 EASTER REVIVALS

THEME: THE DAY AMONGST THE DAY
(Luke 22:3–20,31–34)

1. The Betrayal and Preparation (Verses 3–13)
The passage begins with a dark shift: Satan enters Judas Iscariot, who then conspires with the chief priests to betray Jesus for money. Meanwhile, Jesus sends Peter and John to prepare the Passover meal. He gives them specific, supernatural instructions to find a man carrying a jar of water who will lead them to a furnished upper room.

2. The Institution of the Lord’s Supper (Verses 14–20)
As they sit down to eat, Jesus expresses his deep desire to share this meal with them before his suffering. He introduces a new covenant:
* The Bread: He breaks it, identifying it as his body given for them.
* The Wine: He identifies the cup as the "new covenant in my blood," poured out for the forgiveness of sins.
This established the ritual of Communion, asking his followers to do this in remembrance of him.

3. The Warning to Peter (Verses 31–34)
The tone shifts to the personal spiritual battle facing the disciples. Jesus reveals that Satan has asked to "sift" them like wheat, but Jesus has prayed specifically for Peter that his faith would not fail.
* Peter’s Boldness: Peter confidently declares he is ready to go to prison or even die with Jesus.
* The Prediction: Jesus gently corrects him, predicting that before the rooster crows the next morning, Peter will deny knowing him three times.

Key Takeaways for "The Day Amongst the Day"
these verses highlight how a normal religious holiday (the Passover) was transformed by two life-altering realities:

* The sacrificial love of Christ (The Bread and Wine).

* The human frailty and betrayal (Judas's plot and Peter's coming denial).

SUNDAY 01 FEBRUARY 2026
THEME: SEPARATE YOURSELF FROM THE WICKED 🚪
Today, we learned a life-changing lesson: Your circle determines your safety. Just like the Israelites had to step away from the tents of rebellion to avoid being swallowed up (Numbers 16), and Lot had to flee a city under judgment to find safety (Genesis 19), we must be careful who we allow into our inner circle.
The Bible tells us that light and darkness don’t mix (2 Corinthians 6:14). Choosing to distance yourself from bad influences isn’t about being "better" than others—it’s about protecting your peace and staying close to God. If you want to walk in God’s blessing, you have to be willing to walk away from the wrong crowd.
Whose "tent" are you standing near today? Step back and step into God's light!

Sermon Theme: THE POWER OF THE CROSS
Date: January 25, 2026
Speaker: Pst Anthony Kiriinya

I. The Core Foundation
The sermon emphasizes that the Cross wasn't just a historical event, but a spiritual "key" that unlocked eternity for believers.
The Tearing of the Veil: When the curtain in the temple tore in two, it symbolized the removal of the barrier between God and man.
The Internal Shift: Because of the Cross, Christ no longer dwells in a building made of stone, but comes into our hearts.
The Mark of a Believer: For those who believe in Christ, "signs and wonders" are expected to follow as a natural result of His power at work.

II. Our Identity: The "Walking Altar"
Christ in Us: Since Christ resides in our hearts, we carry His presence everywhere we go.
Practical Living: * Understand your Season: Recognizing where God has you right now is vital for spiritual growth.
Don't Judge: Because Christ is the one who justifies, we are called to lead with grace rather than judgment.
Quiet Diligence: (1 Thessalonians 4:11) Focus on living a quiet life and minding your own business as you walk with God.

III. Why the Cross? (Benefits & Call)
1. The cross gives us Peace: A calmness that comes from reconciliation with God.
2. Forgiveness: The washing away of past mistakes.
3. It gives us a New Life: A fresh start and a spiritual rebirth.
4. It gives us Victory: Overcoming the struggles of the world.
5. It is A Call to Follow: The Cross isn't just a gift to receive; it is an invitation to a new way of living.

January 18, 2026 📖✨
Today, we were powerfully reminded that our battles are won before we even step onto the field.
Theme: THE VICTORY IS NOT IN THE BATTLE FIELD, BUT IN THE MOUNTAIN.
📖 Scripture Readings: * Exodus 17:8-14: The battle against the Amalekites.
2 Chronicles 20:1-17: Jehoshaphat’s victory through praise and prayer.
💡 Key Takeaway:
While Joshua and the army were fighting in the valley, the real victory was being determined on the mountain where Moses held up his hands in prayer. When his hands were raised, Israel prevailed.
We learned that physical effort is important, but spiritual endurance is the key to breakthrough. We need our "Aaron and Hur" to support us in prayer so that our hands stay lifted until the sun goes down and the victory is won!

What "mountain" are you climbing today to secure your victory in the valley? 🙏🙌

HOLY COMMUNION SUNDAY 11/01/2026

THE SONG THAT DEFEATS THE ENEMIES
The core message is that worship is a spiritual weapon. When you face "enemies" or life’s biggest challenges, choosing to praise God can lead to victory.

Key Lessons for Victory
1. Praise Brings the Win (2nd Chronicles 20:1-18): Just as the people of old won their battle by putting singers at the front of the army, your "song" of worship can defeat the obstacles standing in your way.

2. Work for What Lasts (John 6:27): Don't exhaust yourself chasing temporary things that eventually rot or fade. Instead, put your energy into spiritual growth and the "food" that gives you eternal life.

3. The Power of the Table (Matthew 26:26): Through Holy Communion, we take in the bread that represents strength and sacrifice. This spiritual nourishment gives you the power to endure and prosper.
