From Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God…”

Life can feel uncertain, but this verse reminds you that you are not walking alone. God’s presence isn’t distant—it’s active, steady, and sustaining. Even when situations don’t change immediately, His strength carries you through them.

Take this into your day:
When fear rises, answer it with trust. When you feel weak, lean into His strength. And when you’re unsure, remember He is already ahead of you.

A Moment of Blessing

Today we witnessed a powerful and Spirit-filled moment as Rt. Rev. Dr. David M. Nkaabu Bishop of the Anglican Church of Kenya – Diocese of Meru, led prayers and gave a heartfelt blessing to the AMA Missioners during the climax of the AMA Mission at St. Peter's Cathedral.

From the 2nd of July, the Diocese has been greatly enriched by the presence and service of these missioners, who have faithfully carried the light of Christ into homes, hearts, and communities through evangelism, prayer, and outreach.

Bishop Nkaabu reflected on the mission theme drawn from Isaiah 60:1:
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."

"This is more than a theme," he said, "It is God’s trumpet calling the Church to awaken, arise, and shine in a world hungry for truth."

As the missioners return to their homes and churches, we celebrate their dedication and pray that they continue to be vessels of Christ’s light wherever they go.

Jesus,

I grieve that the torture and sorrow You endured on the cross were necessary to save humanity.

Because You didn’t want me enslaved to fear, anxiety, or sin—You sacrificed Yourself so that Love could win.

It’s Love that hung upon the cross and gave up everything to rescue me. “It is finished” was a cry of victory, because You defeated everything that held me in captivity.

Because of Your sacrifice, I can experience intimacy with You forever. Thank You! Help me to know You more, and to reach people with the hope found in You.

In Jesus' Name, Amen.

THE INSPIRING LIFE OF FANUEL SEDEKIA
_1969 – January 4, 2009_

Have you ever listened to a song that made you feel heaven was closer than ever? That’s what Fanuel Sedekia did through his music.

Born in 1969 in Tanzania, Fanuel was not just a gifted gospel artist—he was a minister of hope. With a humble beginning, he discovered the power of worship early in life and dedicated himself fully to the ministry of music. He believed in evangelism through praise, and that’s exactly what he lived for.

Through his group Evangelism Through Music, Fanuel released soul-touching worship songs like "Jina la Yesu," "Ni Neema," "Ametenda Maajabu," and "Mfinyanzi"—songs that continue to lift hearts across East Africa even today. His third album, Unaweza Tena, became a staple in churches and homes alike.

But Fanuel was not just about music. He was a man of God, full of love, humility, and purpose. Those who met him remember a warm smile, a deep spirit, and a heart committed to worship.

In January 2009, while on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, Fanuel fell ill. He was admitted to a hospital in Israel and sadly passed away on January 4, leaving behind a legacy that death could not silence.

He may be gone, but his voice still sings.

Let’s celebrate Fanuel Sedekia’s legacy today.

Seizing the Call to Do God’s Work

Time is a precious gift from God, and the call to do His work will not remain forever. In John 9:4, Jesus reminds us, "As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work." This verse underscores the urgency of fulfilling our mission while we have the opportunity.

Every one of us is called to serve God in unique ways—whether it is through sharing His Word, supporting the vulnerable, or building His church. The challenges we face today require immediate action. As Ephesians 5:15-16 teaches, "Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil." The world is full of brokenness, but God has equipped us to bring healing and hope.

We are not promised tomorrow, and we cannot wait for a more convenient time to serve. Ecclesiastes 9:10 encourages us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might." Whether big or small, every effort we make for God’s glory has eternal value.

Let us commit ourselves wholeheartedly to God’s work, knowing that our labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The time to act is now—let us rise together and be faithful stewards of the opportunities God has placed before us.
