Kindly read this:
I have a young boy who showed up at the center two days ago. He is 14 years old and joined high school this year in January. The boy has been through so much in life and when he came he had just reached his dead end.
At the age of 4 years, his mum passed on leaving him with the father who later got married to another woman. At the age of 8, the woman set the house a blaze with an aim to have him and the father dead but they escaped unhurt. two year ago, the father became insane and has just been roaming the streets leaving him under the care of a very old grandmother who does not care whether he goes to school or not.
When he finished primary school and was to join high school, a good Samaritan came and said he was going to pay his high school fees. He started well and finished the first term (semester). When he went to see him after schools closed, that was last week, the man said he will no longer pay his high school fees and could not tell the boy why.
The boy is broken and when he came here at the Ray of Hope, he was all tears and his only option was to commit su***de. We are currently counselling with him and trusting that the Lord will open doors for him to continue his education.

If God speaks to you, I will send you his details and picture so we see how to help him.

Accusations
It is recorded in the bible that there is only one accuser of the saints, the devil (Rev. 12:10). There are many times that we get into the league and play on the side of the devil and start to score goals for him on our own goals making us at the end of the day to lose the game.
I would like to state that as we get into the year 2018, we should strive to play in the league of the Lord where true love prevails and when you hear anything about your brother or sister, you would do what it takes you to protect their integrity.
Christ prayed fervently for the unity (John 17:21) of the church and Paul speaks so much about unity and that there is no competition in the house of the Lord as each and everyone has a highway of service that has been designed for them. The Psalmist says it even better that when we are united, God commands blessings and life forever more (Psalms 133).
In 2018, lets all strive to keep the unity of the body and when that happens, the world will know and believe that Christ surely came and that we are serving Him as Lord.

Love is acted
John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life

The above scriptures states that God acted, made practical the love that he had for you and me, as we cross into the 2018, I would encourage you that the love that you confess to have for Christ should not just be from your lips but should be acted out.
It is very clear that if you say that you love God, you have to demonstrate it by showing love to the people you come into contact with, let them see the love flowing through you, let them feel the love and let them receive the love in Action.
You cant confess that you love God whom you have never seen yet you hate your brother or sister whom you see everyday. When you practically put love in action in the lives of the people around you, then you are doing it unto the Lord.
Remember the words of Christ, in Mathew 25 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

God is the Healer
Judges 14:7 - 9
7 Then he went down and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well. 8 After some time, when he returned to get her, he turned aside to see the carcass of the lion. And behold, a swarm of bees and honey were in the carcass of the lion. 9 He took some of it in his hands and went along, eating. When he came to his father and mother, he gave some to them, and they also ate. But he did not tell them that he had taken the honey out of the carcass of the lion.

We come to a point in life when people will look down on us and judge us based on our past and sometimes every positive thing that we do go unnoticed.
Your family, your church, your mates etc may have written you off and given up on you and you have felt unworthy and said in your heart that the Lord cannot use you. Remember the words of Nathaniel in John 1:46, Can anything good come out of Nazareth, yes something good can come out of your life.

You have looked at yourself like Mephibosheth did in 2 Samuel 9: 8 where he called himself a dog, a sense of unworthiness, a sense of death, a sense of rottenness, a sense of hopelessness.

Today I want to decree and declare that out of that useless and rotten life, something sweet will come out of it in 2018. You are a pot in the potters hands and as you accept yourself and look unto Jesus, he will mould your life and before the end of 2018, everyone will admire the sweet fragrance and aroma that will be radiating from you.
Do not give up in life, soldier on into 2018 with a positive mind and you will scale the heights and it shall be well and safe with you.
Just as it was with Jephthath, he was kicked out of the family by his brothers but with time, his fame went throughout the land and they all came back looking for him. It is my prayer that everyone who rejected you will come back into your life looking for you because of he turn around that the Lord is going to do in your life in 2018.

No spring can produce both fresh water and salty water at the same time. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. No one can serve two masters, one has to choose on one.
In view of the above, Joshua said hear me you Israel, you have to make a decision. It's either the gods your fathers worshipped yonder or Jehovah God.
There is no in between, no sitting on the fence, no being Lukewarm. It's either Jehovah the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob or the devil. You can't drink from two cups and survive. Remember nothing is hidden before the Lord. You can lie to man but never to God.
Therefore I say decide today. The time is short, the night is far spent and daylight is approaching. Everyday as the sun rises and sets we draw closer and closer to the return of the Lord for the Holy church. Prepare your ways. Go back to repentance.
