```Your future is in God's hands```
Nothing catches God by surprise.
He is sovereign and He exists outside time.
He is a loving God who cares anough about us to lay out the best plan for our lives.

As humans, we can only see the here and now. We are limited in our sight and even sometimes our vision for the future. God however has us covered.
He says that everything works for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.
We may not see the next step infront of us but God calls us to take it in faith. Simply have confidence in the fact that He is with you.
The original recipients of this verse were the nation of Israel while in captivity. God invites them to turn to Him and trust in Him.
Be encouraged today to do the same.
If you are in a confusing or demanding season in your life, trust that God has your back.
As you think about and plan for your future, submit your heart desires to God's will because His plan for you is best.

```Peace be with you```
The world can be a scary place and the journey of faith can be a rocky one. Our lives may seem to crumble and everything we had put our hopes on may fade. Being on this earth comes with devastating seasons.

In all that chaos, God asks us to remember and understand that He is God; supreme, almighty and present. That His mighty power will be seen by nations and the whole earth and they will honour His name.
God gives us peace in the storms, walks with us through rough terrain and preserves us till we make it out on the other side.
He doesn't promise that We will be spared the hardships, however He does promise that they will not destroy us.

Be encouraged today to arrest throughts of fear, anxiety and worry, replacing them with the reminder that God is God!
Trust in God's mighty power and exalt His name in the storm.
Remember, God is bigger than that situation.

```Submit to His Care```
A shepherd takes care of His sheep. He protects them and leads them to a place of nourishment & rest. The sheep obey the shepherd's direction and submit to their leadership.

Psalm 23 illustrates Jesus Christ as our shepherd and we as His flock. He loves us to the point of laying down His life for us. He gives us rest and meets not only our physical needs but also our spiritual and emotional needs. Our greatest need was and is Salvation which He gave as a gift through His death and ressurection.

As His flock, we are called to submit under His Lordship.
We ought to trust that every path He takes us through leads to rest and nourishment in Him.
Our confidence is in the fact that He is with us in the process, not our strength, skills, knowledge or experience, but the simple true fact that our shepherd walks with us through the valleys and the mountains.

Be encouraged today to trust in Jesus Christ as your good shepherd and to submit to His lordship as His flock.

```God's Word is instruction```

This psalm describes the scriptures as the written Word of God that communicates His perfect law, trustworthy statutes, right precepts, radiant commands and firm decrees that are valuable and refreshing.

It states that the rewards for obeying the Word of God include: a refreshed soul, wisdom, joy of heart, clear direction and being right with God.
The ultimate prize for rightly responding to scripture by recieving Christ into our hearts is eternity with God.

The value and the sweetness of the Word of God superceeds gold and honey.

Let us be encouraged to intentionally make time today to interact with the Word of God and pray for grace to rightly apply it's instruction for we will reap and are continuing to reap a great reward.
