Dear Friends and Supporters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for continuing to follow and support Okoa Young Men Ministry. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership continue to make a great impact in the lives of young men through discipleship, mentorship, sports ministry, and community outreach.

We would like to share a few upcoming ministry activities and updates:

- Okoa Eagles FC will be finishing the first leg of the Sub-Branch League season this weekend. We thank God for His faithfulness and the progress the team has made so far.

- On July 4th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will be hosting youth from Summit Church, North Carolina (USA). This will be a wonderful opportunity for interaction, evangelism, fellowship, discipleship, and football activities together.

- From July 20th–24th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will attend TREC(Training Resourcing Equipping coaches)at Rosslyn Academy with Ambassadors football International. This training focuses on developing coaches and leaders where passion meets purpose — raising coaches who lead with heart, impact lives, and transform communities.

- From August 21st–24th, Okoa Young Men Ministry will participate in a mission trip to the coastal region. The trip will include football outreach, beach evangelism, discipleship programs, exploration activities, and ministry engagement with local communities.

We remain grateful for your continued prayers and support as we seek to impact lives and raise godly young men for Christ.

Friends and Family of Okoa Young Men Ministry,

Thank you so much for being part of this journey of spreading the Gospel and transforming young athletes through sports, particularly soccer. Your prayers, encouragement, and support continue to strengthen this mission of serving God through sports.

Today was a special and encouraging day for our ministry. The Under-15 League was officially launched in partnership with the Football Federation Limuru Branch at Maramba Ground. We are grateful to witness young talents being nurtured both spiritually and athletically. In the opening match, Okoa Eagles U15 secured a 1–0 victory against Camelia FC U15, which was a great start for the team.

In addition, during the Limuru Central Tournament Quarter Final, our Okoa Eagles Senior Team played a competitive match against Vijana FC. The match ended in a penalty shootout where we unfortunately lost. Despite the result, we remain proud of the team’s determination, discipline, and sportsmanship.

As we continue with this mission, we are guided by the Word of God:

> “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

> “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

We remain committed to nurturing young men through faith, mentorship, and sports. Thank you for standing with Okoa Young Men Ministry as we continue serving God and impacting lives in our community.

Blessings to you all. 🙏⚽

Today, we held a memorial match, candle-lighting ceremony, and a fundraising initiative in honor of the late Kevin, the captain of Shoppers FC, who passed away one week ago. The event took place at Tigoni Grounds and was a meaningful moment of remembrance and solidarity.

In addition, Okoa Eagles face Limuru City in a friendly “Back to School” match at Rongai Primary School as part of our continued efforts to promote unity, mentorship, and sportsmanship among the youth.

We sincerely appreciate the encouragement, support, and participation of everyone involved. As we look ahead, we are preparing to resume the Sub-Branch League next weekend.

Thank you all for your commitment and continued support.

OKOA MINISTRY UPDATE
We humbly give thanks to God for His protection, guidance, and abundant grace that has sustained the Okoa Young Men Ministry this far.
Yesterday, we had a joyful and meaningful time with the young men as we celebrated four years of ministry operation, alongside our end-of-year celebration. It was encouraging to witness the boys actively participating—preparing their own meals, sharing thanksgiving messages, laughing together, and fellowshipping over a meal. These moments greatly strengthened our unity, brotherhood, and sense of togetherness.
We sincerely extend our gratitude to everyone who supported this endeavor through prayers, financial contributions, and encouragement. May God richly bless you for standing with us.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Okoa Young Men Ministry Progress Update
We are delighted to share recent highlights from the Okoa Young Men Ministry.
Yesterday, we held a team-building event in collaboration with the youth from Tigoni Fellowship Baptist Church. It was a fun and engaging day filled with exciting games and meaningful fellowship. The activity aimed to nurture our youth to grow both spiritually and physically, bringing glory to the Lord in all we do.
Today, our team started the day on a high note with a remarkable victory—winning 4–1 against Gatimu FC. We commend both teams for their great effort and sportsmanship throughout the match.
Additionally, we were honored to participate in the pre-wedding celebration of one of our officials, Beryl. By God’s grace, the event went smoothly, and we are grateful for His continued blessings upon our ministry family.
We sincerely thank all those who prayed with us, participated in our activities, and continue to support the vision and mission of Okoa Young Men Ministry. Your prayers, encouragement, and partnership remain invaluable as we strive to empower and transform young men for God’s glory.

Okoa Young Men Ministry Update
We are pleased to provide a brief update on recent events and activities involving the Okoa Eagles and the ministry.
Over the past two consecutive weekends, our teams faced tough competition. Unfortunately, the Okoa Eagles lost against Green leave fc and Bluestar fc. However, today, as part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability and in celebration of Mazingira Day, we are proud to announce that we successfully planted 100 tree seedlings at the Limuru Community Grounds. This effort reflects our dedication to preserving the environment and positively impacting our local community.
In addition, we participated in a thrilling football bonanza involving four teams:
Round 1:
• Okoa Eagles 3 vs. Acme FC 1
• Limuru Wazee 1 vs. Ulezi 0
Final:
• Okoa Eagles 3 vs. Limuru Wazee 1
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, Friends of Creation and Acme Company, as well as all officials and volunteers who supported and made these events possible.
Looking ahead, we are excited to participate in the upcoming Limuru Sub-Branch League and continue promoting sportsmanship, unity, and community engagement.
Thank you for your continued support.

Mission Day Update – Mombasa

Yesterday morning, we kicked off our mission with an exciting football match against Majestic FC, where we gave our best but narrowly lost 0–1. Both teams displayed great effort and sportsmanship.

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a refreshing visit to Nyali Beach, a time of fellowship and appreciation of God’s beautiful creation. The day concluded with an uplifting encouragement from Ian Kimani and a powerful sermon from Benson Muhanji that deeply blessed us.

We are grateful to God for His guidance and provision throughout this mission.

TRAINING AND MATCH DAY UPDATE

We are pleased to share that today’s training sessions for the Okoa Clubs were a great success. Held at the Limuru Community Grounds, the training brought together our Seniors Team, Under-16, and Under-13 players. We had a strong turnout of approximately 87 young men, along with one dedicated young girl who participated enthusiastically. The Okoa Rugby Bulls also had an outstanding training session, demonstrating great discipline and energy.

Additionally, Okoa Tigoni and Okoa Loreto football clubs engaged in a friendly match at Tigoni Community Grounds. It was a spirited and competitive game that ended in a 4–4 draw. We are proud of both teams for their effort, sportsmanship, and mutual respect.

We were also honored to be visited by Michael Schap and Jeff Schap during today's training. Their presence and words of wisdom were truly encouraging and uplifting to our young men. We deeply appreciate their time and support.

As we continue this mission, we call on you to support God's work through the Okoa Young Men Ministry. Together, we are shaping the lives and futures of the next generation.

Thank you .
