Proclaim Conference

Proclaim Conference "He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ." - Colossians 1:28

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for our salvation. As Christians we often forget how foundational and important the gospel is to who we are as believers and how we think and live in this world. We desire to help us all refocus our attention on the purity of that very gospel. Unfortunately, the gospel of Jesus Christ is frequently misunderstood and often misrepresented in our city. C

hurches in our city are often marked by heretical teachers, business-oriented philosophies, and a false gospel of prosperity. Pretending to be the apostolic faith, they are actually peddling a poison that is slowly killing the true church of Christ. In all humility, we desire to accurately proclaim the true faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and to help equip church leaders to do the same.

- Solomon Muigai is the lead pastor at Hope City Bible Church. He was brought up in a thriving Baptist church in Nairobi, aware of the gospel tenets at an early age, but the Lord saved him just before joining the Kenya Medical Training College in 2006. In June 2015, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Theology from the Africa International University (AIU). He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from AIU, Nairobi. He loves to disciple young adults, train pastors in rural Kenya, defend the Christian Faith and reach out to the lost with the powerful gospel of Christ Jesus. He also serves as a visiting lecturer in different Bible colleges. Solomon is married to Annabel and they have two sons, Nathan and Neilan.
