Our second Teachings by Brother Martin Nyatta.
Topic: Prayer.
Prayer is communication between believer and God.
Relationship with God is the point of Prayer. The more you relate with God the more confidence you will have with Him.
Communication is a two-way traffic. Speak to God and let Him speak to you also.
Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayers
1 thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing

Acts of Prayer. 1tim 2:1-4
1. Praising, Worshiping, Adoring God.
You can worship and praise God as an act of prayer.
2. Supplication/Petition.
3. Thanksgiving Prayers.
4. Prayer of Intercessions- Lifting others in prayer
5. Pray through songs
6. Prayer of implication. Bless Your enemies. Speak positive about others. Matthew 5:44-48
7. Prayer of meditation. You meditate what you have already put in your heart. Fill your heart with God's Word. Joshua 1:8, psalms 1:1-3

Reasons why prayers are not answered.
1. Attitude of the heart. Why are you praying.
2. Wrong beliefs.
3. Unbelief/Doubt.

When we pray, we stand on the authority and position of Christ.
We should ensure our beliefs line up with God's word.
The Lord looks at the heart.

Topic: God Wants You Rich.
Speaker: Elizabeth Maina
Proverbs 10:22 KJV
[22] The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, And he addeth no sorrow with it.

2 Corinthians 8:9 KJV
[9] For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

Why Does God want you Rich?
1. Because He loves us. John 3:16, Gen 22:14

2. Being Rich is part of the Gods Blessings. It is never mentioned as a curse. Galatians 3:13-14

3. To Establish His Covenant. Deuteronomy 8:18. He gives us power to make wealth so as to establish His covenant.
Luke 10:30-35
We need wealth to be able to spread the love of God. For the Gospel to be preached and reach many, money is an important tool.

4. Riches is part of the Atonement or Sacrifice. It is part of the finished work of Christ. 2Corinthians 8:9, 1 Peter 2:24, 2Corintians 5:21. Isaiah 53:3-5, Psalms 103:3-5
He took our poverty so we can be rich.
He took our sickness so we can enjoy health.
He took our sin so we can be the righteousness of God in Him.
He satisfies our mouth with good things.
You being rich is part of the work of Christ on the cross.

5. He wants you rich so that you can be in position to give.
Ephesians 4:28
God makes us rich so we can give to them that has a need.
Make giving a priority in your life. Prioritise giving.

Blessings of the Lord maketh rich and added no sorrow with it.
