KAG BUNAMBO CHURCH
Date: 8/2/2026
SPEAKER; MRS ROSELYN WAFULA.
KAG – National Women’s Day
SERMON TITLE:
“Women Empowered for the Service of God”
KEY SCRIPTURE:
Luke 8:1–3 NKJV
1 Soon afterward, Jesus went on through towns and villages, proclaiming and bringing the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with Him,
2 and also some women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities: Mary called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
3 and Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, who provided for Him out of their resources.
INTRODUCTION
Today we celebrate the contribution of women in the nation, the church, and the Kingdom of God.
Women’s ministry is not secondary—it is part of God’s divine plan from the beginning.
Even Jesus Himself was supported by women who loved God and were committed to His work.
MAIN POINTS
1. God Uses Women to Advance His Kingdom
(Luke 8:1–3)
These women were not preaching from the pulpit, but they ensured that the ministry of Jesus continued.
Women’s ministry is demonstrated through:
1 Prayer
2 Generosity
3 Faithfulness
4 Giving of resources
When you give toward the Women’s Ministry (WWK), you are directly participating in the work of God.
2. Women’s Ministry Produces Fruit for Generations
(Proverbs 31:26–28)
Women teach wisdom, build character, and strengthen families.
Women’s ministry uplifts:
-Marriages
-Youth
-Children
-The entire community
What we plant today in women’s ministry will be seen tomorrow in the next generation.
3.Giving Is Part of Our Worship to God
(2 Corinthians 9:6–8)
7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
God does not desire forced giving—He desires a willing heart.
Giving is not pressure; it is an opportuni

NO REGRET IN SERVING GOD.
Key Texts
Joshua 24:15 – “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Romans 8:18 – “The sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared…”
2 Timothy 4:7–8 – “I have fought a good fight…”
Mark 8:36 – “What shall it profit a man…?”
Why Serving God Leaves No Regret
1. Serving God Gives Eternal Rewards
Matthew 6:19–20
Earthly achievements fade
God’s rewards last forever
You never regret what impacts eternity
Point: People regret what they lose, not what they invest in God.
2. Serving God Gives Inner Peace
Isaiah 26:3
The world offers pleasure, not peace
God gives peace in trials
Many regret worldly choices, but never obedience
3. Serving God Gives Meaning to Life
Ecclesiastes 12:13
Life without God ends in emptiness
Serving God gives purpose beyond success or failure
4. Serving God Is Worth Every Sacrifice
Romans 8:18
Temporary pain, eternal glory
Heaven will erase every question and doubt
People Who Never Regretted Serving God
1. Joshua – A Life of Decision. Joshua 24:15
He chose God publicly
His legacy followed his choice
2. Paul – A Life of Sacrifice
2 Timothy 4:7
Suffered much
Died fulfilled, not bitter
3. Jesus’ Disciples – A Life of Surrender
Matthew 19:27–29
Left everything
Gained eternal reward
Truth: No one in Scripture died regretting obedience to God.
Why People Regret Not Serving God
Luke 15:14–17
(The Prodigal Son)
He chased pleasure instead of purpose
He delayed obedience
He realized too late what mattered most
Many regret serving God too late — but none regret serving Him too early.
One day every person will look back on their life. Some will regret chances they missed, words they never said, and time they wasted. But there is one thing no one will ever regret — serving God.
Joshua stood before Israel and said, “Choose this day whom you will serve.” He didn’t say serving God would be easy, but he knew it would be worth it.

TYPES OF PEOPLE YOU WILL FIND ON THE WAY TO YOUR DIVINE DESTINY

GOLIATH: These are obvious enemies. You must fight and win battles against Goliath to gain and occupy territory.

JUDAS: False friends. These ones will betray and sell you out to your enemies for gain.

AHITOPHEL: These people harbour secret grudge against you, but are with you for now because it's beneficial to them. When a chance comes and you're being attacked, they'll join your enemies at the most inopportune moment and use the secrets you told them against you.

THE TEN ISRAELITE SPIES: These are with you because they believe it's easy. The moment battles arises, they grow cold feet and run. And take people with them whom they turn against you.

PETER: These will deny you when it's not popular to be associated with you. You have helped them, when it comes time to stand up for you, they put their reputation first and deny you. In public.

JOB'S WIFE / MICHAL: These are close to you and are used by the enemy to continue the battle from the battlefield to your home. Just to ensure you have nowhere to rest and your safe spaces are exposed.

TOBIAS & SANBALLAT: These will try everything to discourage you. They believe your success makes them look bad. They will fight you to the bitter end. They will not relent.

SHIMEI: They will wait for any stumble you make and curse you for it. They have been Prophesying your downfall for a long time and will lead the amplifying of your "stumble".

2 Samuel 16:13
So David and his men continued along the road while Shimei was going along the hillside opposite him, cursing as he went and throwing stones at him and showering him with dirt.

SIMON THE NIGER: These will help you carry your cross. They are very few. Mostly family and those God gives you.

TIMOTHY: They will not be ashamed to identify with you, even when you're in prison as a convicted fellow.

Wherever you are. Whatever the case.

Go on and WIN. I see your destiny shining bright ahead.
