GOD EXPECTS RETURNS.
Part 1.

We are not our own.

All men have been bought at an infinite price."bought with a price"(1 Corinthians 6:20);not "with corruptible things ,as silver and gold...but with the precious blood of Christ".(1 Peter :18,19)
"that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves but unto Him which died for them and rose again",(2 Corinthians 5:15).

All men are the Lord's property (whether believers or unbelievers).

All will be required to render an account on the great judgement day.

As children of God and Christ's servants,we have been redeemed for serving.
Jesus teaches that the true object of life is His ministry.

Jesus Christ Himself was a worker and to all His followers ,He gives law of service _service to God and to their fellow men.

Mark 16:15 He said to them,"Go into the world and preach the gospel to all creation ".

By living to minister to others ,man is brought into connection with Christ.

He gives to everyone his work.

He does not show partiality .

Each has his /her place in the eternal plan of heaven.

Each is to work in co_operatipn with Christ for the salvation of souls.

As we are here on earth we are to work for God.

We all have the different gifts and Blessings imparted by the Holy spirit.

"To one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom,to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit,to another faith;by the same Spirit to another the working of the miracles ;to another divers kinds of tongues,to another the interpretation of tongues,but all these worketh that one and the same Spirit dividing to every man severally as He will",(1 Corinthians 12:8-11).

All men do not receive the same gifts but to every servant,some gifts of the Holy spirit is promised.

Before Jesus Christ left His disciples, Christ "breathed on them and saith unto them , Receive ye the Holy Ghost",(John 20:22).

Again He said ,"Behold ,l send you promises of my father upon you",(Luke 24:49).

",unto every one of us given grace , according to the measure of the gift of Christ ",the Spirit "dividing to every man severally as He will "(Ephesians 4:7;1Cor 12:12)

"When He ascended up on high,He led captivity captive and gave gifts unto men",(Ephesians 4:8.

The gifts are already ours in Christ , but their actual possession depends upon our reception of the Spirit of God.

God is love .He has shown that love is the gift of Christ.
When "He gave His only begotten son,that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,have everlasting life ",He withheld nothing from His purchased possession (John 3:26).But this love of God does not lead Him to excuse sin.

When you lay upon the altar something you thought you had to have because you realize it was God's all along _that,s worship.

In your God given purpose in life,you will often experience a series of adversities that cause you to relinquish what's temporal and grasp what's eternal.

For Paul it meant the loss of every earthly possession.

Trusting Riches.

Trusting God is quite tough for most christians, especially in these days of high technology and the sciences ,plenty of entertainment and emphasis on material wealth!

Some preach and act as if wealth and riches : material prosperity is all we need.
