Topic: STAYING UNDER THE UMBRELLA
Text: Psalm 91:1–5 and John 15:5-7
The “umbrella” represents God’s presence, protection, and covering. When we remain close to God, we find safety even in difficult situations.
Key Points
1.Stay in God’s presence — Psalm 91:1
🔹 Protection comes from dwelling in God, not visiting Him only when trouble comes.
2.Trust God completely — Psalm 91:2
🔹 Staying under God’s umbrella means making Him your refuge and fortress.
3.Remain under His protection — Psalm 91:3
🔹 God is able to deliver us from hidden dangers and traps.
🔹 Don’t step outside His covering by relying only on your own strength.
4.Rest under God’s covering — Psalm 91:4
🔹 God’s covering gives us security, comfort, and confidence.
5. Do not fear what is around you — Psalm 91:5
🔹 When you know who is covering you, fear does not control you.

Scripture:Book of Job 5:1-27
5 “They cry for help but no one listens; they turn to their gods, but none gives them aid. 2 They die in helpless frustration, overcome by their own anger. 3 Those who turn from God may be successful for the moment, but then comes sudden disaster.....
Topic: Being Disciplined in Pain
Key points to note
1.Pain can be used by God to correct and teach us (vv. 17–18). God's discipline is meant to restore, not destroy.
2.Accept God's correction with humility (v. 17).
Do not reject His discipline, because it produces growth.
3.Trust God during suffering (vv. 19–23)
He is able to deliver His people from many troubles.
4.God protects those who remain obedient (vv. 20–23).
He watches over those who rely on Him.
5.Discipline leads to peace and restoration (vv. 24–26).
Those who trust God can experience His blessing in the end.
