*THEME :* Put Your Faith Out There!

*Today’s Scripture :*
1 Samuel 17:46, NKJV
“This very day the LORD will put you in my power; I will defeat you and cut off your head.”

*Today’s Word :*
When David came against the giant Goliath, he could have looked at Goliath and said, “I don’t have a chance. I’ll never defeat him.” I’m sure those thoughts came to his mind, but David understood the principle that if he spoke those negative words, he was calling in defeat, limitations, and weakness. That’s why he stayed on the offensive and declared, “I will defeat you.” What was he doing? He was calling in victory, favour, and ability, which is exactly what happened.

When you face challenges, it’s so important what you’re saying. When you’re facing an illness, you need to call in healing and declare, “I will defeat this sickness. I will live and not die. The number of my days God will fulfill. I am healed. I am whole.” You have to call in greatness, call in new levels, call in courage. Put your faith out there. Call in your dreams, favour, abundance, opportunity, promotion, breakthrough, divine connections, wisdom, and creativity. You’re about to see the surpassing greatness of God’s favour. Get ready. What you’re calling in is on the way - it can happen even today, just believe!

*Prayer For Today :*
“Father, thank You that my words give life to my faith, and I can use my words to prophesy my future. Thank You that I can use my words to call in healing, freedom, abundance, and strength. I will say what You say about me and what You promise in Your Word. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

*THEME :* God’s Strength!

*Today's Scripture :*
Judges 3:10 NKJV
"The Spirit of the Lord came on him....."

*Today's Word :*
God gave great responsibilities to Othniel in a time of transition for the people of Israel. As discipline for the nation’s idolatry, God had given them “into the hands of Cushan-Rishathaim.....to whom the Israelites were subject for eight years” (Judges 3:8). Under the cruel King of Mesopotamia, the Israelites “cried out to the Lord,” and “he raised up for them a deliverer” (v. 9)—Othniel, whose name means “God’s strength.”

As the first judge of Israel, Othniel had no predecessor to help him. This military leader had to guide the Israelites back to living out their covenant relationship with God and defend them from their enemies. But because “the Spirit of the Lord came on him” (v. 10), he succeeded. With God’s strength sustaining Othniel’s leadership, “the land had peace for forty years, until [he] died” (v. 11).

How can we truly “be strong”? It’s by knowing we’re not strong and by trusting God to give us His strength. His “grace is sufficient for [us], for [His] power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). God’s strength works through us, doing things only He can do for us in our daily lives!

*Reflection :*
How have you tried to “be strong”? How does Othniel’s story impact your understanding of God's strength?

*Prayer For Today :*
"Almighty God, please enable me to rely on Your strength in my day today activities. Help me, Lord, to be strong and make wise decisions, for I know Your grace is always sufficient for me. In Jesus' Name, Amen."
