There is something most people never notice about life.

You are always looking at yourself through other people.

Every person you meet becomes a kind of mirror.

Some mirrors make you feel small.

They ignore you and suddenly you start thinking you are not important.

Some mirrors make you feel angry.

They misunderstand you and you begin to question your own heart.

Some mirrors make you feel proud.

They praise you and you start thinking you have arrived.

But

None of those mirrors are showing you who you really are.

They are only showing you how they see life, how they feel in that moment, and what they are carrying inside.

So if you are not careful, you will live your whole life adjusting your identity based on broken reflections.

One personโ€™s opinion lifts you up.

Another personโ€™s words tear you down.

And you keep changing, not because you changed, but because the mirror changed.

But there is a steadier place to stand.

There is a voice that does not shift with moods or opinions.

A truth that does not distort when people misunderstand you.

In Christ, you are not defined by the mirror of people.

You are defined by the truth of God.

Even when people overlook you, you are still seen.

Even when people reject you, you are still chosen.

Even when people misunderstand you, you are still known fully.

So stop letting broken mirrors decide your value.

Some of the voices around you are not telling the truth about you.

They are only revealing what is inside them.

And when you finally stop living by reflection, you start living from revelation.

You stop asking who do they say I am.

And you begin to rest in what has already been said about you.

You ever notice how people can love you and still misunderstand you at the same time..Not because they are evilNot becau...

You ever notice how people can love you and still misunderstand you at the same time..

Not because they are evil
Not because they hate you..
But because everyone is looking at life through their own mirror..

That is why the same situation can produce different stories
The same words can land differently in two hearts..
And the same person can be called many things depending on who is telling the story

It makes you realize something important

Not everything that is said about you is actually about you..
Sometimes it is just someone revealing where they are coming from inside..

And here is the deeper part

You will exhaust yourself trying to fix every opinion
You will lose peace trying to be clear in every misunderstanding
You will break your own heart trying to be seen correctly by everyone

But truth does not need everyone to agree with it

It only needs to remain steady

So maybe maturity is this
Learning to pause before reacting
Learning to stay calm when misunderstood..

Learning to let people keep their version while you keep your peace

Because you are not responsible for how every mirror reflects you
You are responsible for how grounded you stay when it does

And if you can master that
You will stop living for approval
And start living from peace

THE EXIT BUTTON IN YOUR POCKET.

We are losing the art of staying together because we have turned people into options.

It is not that we have run out of love.

It is that we have replaced being faithful with being comfortable.

We live in a world where everything is an upgrade. If your partner makes a mistake, you do not talk it out.

You look for a new version. If a conversation gets a bit quiet, you do not try to fix it...

You just open another app. If things get difficult, you do not fight for the relationship.

You just go silent and wait for the next person to message you...

We have been tricked into thinking that someone better is always one click away. But here is the truth.

When you treat everyone like they can be replaced, nobody feels like they are worth anything.

Real closeness is built in the moments you cannot skip...

It is built in the arguments, the boring Tuesday nights, and the hard work of staying when it would be easier to walk away.

We have stopped looking for hearts and started shopping for people like they are items on a shelf.

Then we wonder why we feel so alone while being so connected.

The hard truth is this

Your phone has not made it easier to find the right person...

It has just made it easier to throw away the good person standing right in front of you.

What do you think?

Are we actually connecting with people, or are we just collecting names while staying lonely?

If you think I am wrong, tell me why.
