Bible Text:
“Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her.” — Proverbs 31:28

A mother’s love is often quiet.
She wakes up early, sleeps late, sacrifices her own needs, and continues serving even when nobody notices. Many mothers carry burdens silently—worrying, praying, working, and loving without asking for recognition.

But God sees every unseen sacrifice.

The world may overlook a mother’s exhaustion, but Heaven records every prayer whispered at midnight, every tear hidden behind a smile, and every act of love done faithfully for the family.

Mothers are more than caretakers—they are instruments of God’s grace inside the home. Through their patience, discipline, compassion, and faith, they shape lives and influence generations.

This Mother’s Day is not only about giving flowers or greetings. It is about honoring the heart of a mother who continued loving even when life became difficult.

To every mother:
Your labor is not wasted.
Your prayers are not unheard.
And your love reflects the heart of God.

Reflection:
Have you thanked God—and your mother—for the sacrifices that helped shape your life?

“John 10:11 reveals the heart of Jesus toward His people:

‘I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.’

This verse teaches us a beautiful lesson about Christ’s love and care:

1. Jesus is our Good Shepherd
He leads with wisdom, tenderness, and unfailing love.

2. Jesus knows His sheep
He knows our names, our struggles, and our needs—and He never loses sight of us.

3. Jesus gave His life for us
Unlike a hired hand, Christ did not run from danger. He laid down His life so we could live.

John 10:11 reminds us that we are not forgotten, abandoned, or alone. We belong to a Shepherd who protects, provides, and gave everything for our salvation.

In every season, His voice still calls, His hand still leads, and His love still holds.

‘I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.’ — John 10:11

“John 16:33 reminds us that peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ.

Jesus never promised a life without hardship. He was honest: in this world, we will face trials, pain, and uncertainty. But He also gave us a greater promise — ‘Take heart! I have overcome the world.’

This verse teaches us three powerful lessons:

1. Trouble is part of life
Challenges will come, but they do not mean God has abandoned us.

2. Peace is found in Christ
True peace is not found in perfect circumstances, but in trusting Jesus through every storm.

3. Victory is already secured
Because Christ has overcome the world, we can face tomorrow with courage, hope, and confidence.

No matter what you are facing today, remember: the battle is real, but so is the victory in Jesus.

‘In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.’ — John 16:33

“Abiding in Christ means a constant receiving of His Spirit, a life of unreserved surrender to His service. The channel of communication must be open continually between man and his God. As the vine branch constantly draws the sap from the living vine, so are we to cling to Jesus, and receive from Him by faith the strength and perfection of His own character.”—Ellen G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 676.

“Early for Work — But Late for Church?”

Bible Text:
“Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.” — Proverbs 3:9

Many people are careful about their schedule when it comes to work. They wake up early, prepare themselves, and try not to be late. Being on time shows responsibility and respect for the job.

But when it comes to church, sometimes the attitude becomes different.

Some arrive late, rush into the service, or come without preparing their heart for worship. Slowly, worship can become something casual instead of something sacred.

Coming early to church is not only about time. It reflects our priority and reverence for God.

When we prepare our heart and come early, we give ourselves time to be quiet, pray, and focus on God. Worship becomes more meaningful when we come with a ready heart.

Through Jesus Christ, we learn that honoring God should come before everything else. God deserves not only our presence but also our best attention and respect.

If we can give our best effort to our work, surely God deserves even more.

Reflection:
Ask yourself honestly:

Do I treat worship with the same seriousness that I give to my responsibilities in the world?

Because how we approach worship often reveals how much we value God in our life.
