Local leaders gathered to pray and prepare.

Rev. Matengo chaired an initial meeting focused on seeking God’s guidance for an upcoming outreach: the Kisumu Creative Evangelism Cultural Event.

This will be a two-day community event held outside Moi Stadium (Kachok), bringing together local churches, local leaders, and local artists with one shared purpose—to preach the Gospel in ways that connect deeply with the next generation.

The target audience includes college students, youth and young adults (approximately ages 15–40), and young people living in surrounding estates such as Manyatta and Nyalenda.

Africa Foreword Encounter is honored to serve as the main official financial sponsor of this event, supporting locally led vision and leadership.

Today’s meeting marked the beginning—starting not with logistics, but with prayer. We believe lasting impact is built on spiritual foundation, unity, and faithfulness.
