He who covers his sins shall not prosper: but whoso ever confesses and forsakes them shall mercy.

Proverbs 28:13

"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism." - Colossians 3:23-25 NIV

In our daily tasks and responsibilities, it's easy to fall into a mindset of merely seeking approval from our earthly bosses or striving for personal gain. However, the Word of God reminds us to shift our perspective.

Whatever our work may be, we are called to approach it with excellence and wholeheartedness, as if we are working directly for the Lord.

When we realize that our ultimate purpose and fulfillment come from serving Christ, our perspective on work changes. Our motivation shifts from seeking human recognition or success to glorifying God and serving others. Every task, no matter how small or menial it may seem, becomes an opportunity to honor God and make a positive impact.

In this passage, Paul highlights the eternal reward that comes from faithfully serving the Lord. By working diligently and with integrity, knowing that our inheritance and reward come from Him, we can find fulfillment, purpose, and anticipation in our work.

Paul also reminds us of the universal truth that God's justice is impartial.

Any wrongdoing or mistreatment will be repaid, for there is no favoritism with our Heavenly Father. Therefore, as we fulfill our daily responsibilities, let us do so with integrity, treating others with fairness and kindness.

Today, let us remember that our work is not separate from our service to God. Whether we are engaged in our careers, caring for our families, or serving in our communities, let us approach our tasks with wholehearted dedication, bringing glory to our Lord. May our actions reflect the character of Christ, and may we find joy in the privilege of serving Him through our work.

Father God, thank You

Isaiah 45:7.. this is what the Lord says… I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things….

Let us put the above verse into our context.
1. If you have been going through dark moments, the Lord will CREATE light for you in your dark situation!

2. If you have been going through a season of trouble, confuse and lack of peace, the Lord will CREATE peace in/for your life. You will get into a season of much peace and tranquillity!

3. Our God has the power to do all things…

…Behold I will do a new thing and it will not delay says the Lord, yes it will suddenly spring up! … yes it is time to forget the past…do not dwelling in the past. Be on the look out for the new things the Lord has in store for you….

I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.”John16:33.

“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭

“But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

He died for us so that, whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with him. Therefore encourage one another a build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
1 Thessalonians 5:8-11

“Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience. For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.

Declare these things; exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no one disregard you.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭15‬ ‭

“Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.

For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another.

But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭5‬ ‭ESV

“But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim);

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”

For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on him.

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭8‬-‭13‬i
