I am a christian and a Gospel Evangelist 😊..but please be assured that my words are not the "STANDARD" neither are your words! God's Word is the Standard and ONLY

That is why with everything that I teach and preach...as well as with what any other person teaches and preaches...

You must make sure that it all

lines up with what the Bible "TEACHES"

I ask that you and I will never allow ourselves to be lazy in regards to "Spiritual Matters"

We always need to go back to the word of God and make sure that what we ~ Believe, ~Practice and ~Teach is the =Truth! CONSIDER THE POWERFUL VERSE BELOW 👇

"Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written: 'That You may be justified in Your words, And may overcome when You are judged.'" (Romans 3:4)

"Prove all things; hold fast that which is good." (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

"Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)

"He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him— the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day." (John 12:48)

"These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so." (Acts 17:11)

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15)

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16, 17)
.. And with that last passage that I referenced... 2 Timothy 3:16, 17... God's word is "profitable for correction"...

✍️ So, if you ever believe that I have taught or done something that goes against the God's word then keep me close.

THE POWER OF LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS

What we think at any time is important (Proverbs 23:7), but it seems to me that our late night thoughts are fraught with particular significance because they 'set our course' for the next day. If a person drifts off into sleep with prayerful thoughts about God and heaven, and serving the Lord, it cannot help but impact him for good come morning. But on the other hand, if one fills her head at late night with evil thoughts, it can only be productive of wicked pursuits in her daylight activities.

First, let us note the blessings of good late night thoughts: “Stand in awe, and sin not; commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord” (Psalm 4:4-5).

Again, “My soul shall be satisfied…when I remember thee upon my bed and meditate upon thee in the night watches” (Psalm 63:5-6). Yes, “The thoughts of the righteous are right…” (Proverbs 12:5). On the other hand, how spiritually destructive are the wrong kind of late night thoughts.

Observe this warning from a prophet of old, “Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it…” (Micah 2:1). The wicked man “deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good…” (Psalm 36:4). No wonder the Bible tells us, “the thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord” (Proverbs 15:26).

The way we live our lives is determined by what we think. Solomon stated, that what one “thinketh in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). Thus, we cannot over emphasize the importance of thinking good things, and especially at night upon our beds.

Prayer for Urgent Needs

O loving and merciful God,
in this moment of great need, I come before You with a humble and trusting heart.

You know the burdens I carry, the fears that weigh upon me, and the urgency of my situation.

Lord, I place everything into Your hands.

Grant me Your peace in the midst of uncertainty, Your strength when I feel weak, and Your light when the path before me seems dark.

If it is Your will, provide the help I so urgently seek. Open doors that seem closed, touch hearts that can bring relief, and guide every step toward the good You desire for me.

Above all, teach me to trust in Your perfect timing and loving plan.
May Your will be done in my life,
for I know that You work all things for the good of those who love You.

Through Christ our Lord.
Amen. 🙏

OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE

God’s plan for you is for you to be a faithful member of the body of Christ, which is the church (Eph. 1:22, 23). Faithfulness includes every part of the body working to build the body (Eph. 4:16). There are many opportunities to serve in your congregation, and your help is needed.

You are able to encourage brothers and sisters. An obvious place for this encouragement is during the assembly of the church. In fact, that is one purpose of the assembly (Heb. 10:24, 25). Make specific plans to be at every assembly, and in each class. You will be strengthened, and you will strengthen others. But, in addition to this, make your own plan to encourage others.

Our younger members can be a great help to our elder members. Drop in and offer help. Even if no specific help is asked for, your visit is a help to them. You are building the body. Make a list of those you visit, and when. Try to visit varied members of the congregation. Use your home to be hospitable to others and encourage others. You will be surprised at how much your simple acts of encouragement help others.

In addition, invite people to study the Bible with you, and to come to our Bible classes and assemblies. Always speak positively. If there is something which you may be less than excited about, do not speak of it negatively. When you are positive it sends a good message to others. And, since we are a blessed congregation, we can be positive about our work for the Lord.

There are many other areas to serve, including physical work around our facilities. But in our service, let us focus on the spiritual needs of one another. Everyone needs to be encouraged!
