# THURSDAY--CAN YOU KEEP A SECRET?
# **SABBATH SCHOOL LESSON # 2--A DAY IN THE MINISTRY OF JESUS**
In several of His miracles, Christ asks people to remain silent--to keep the secret of that miracle. What was the reason of this request of Christ? Especially in today’s topic with a l***r that He touched and cleansed.
Well, thank you for joining us in Bible lessons today, I the topic: “Can you keep a secret?”
Welcome to Bible Lessons a space to study and understand the Word of God. Mark 1:40
**40 A man with leprosy[[h](https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%201&version=NIV -NIV-24256h)] came to him and begged him on his knees, “If you are willing, you can make me clean.”**
This incident brings us several lessons:
1. Leprosy which is a skin disease, is in the Bible a symbol of sin. We are all l***rs, we are all infected by sin. So, this example, what is going to happen here is a physical and material healing, that is exactly like the spiritual healing that Christ wants to give us. He wants to heal us all from sin. He wants to free us all from the problem of sin.
2. > I love the faith of this person with leprosy because in verse 40 he said, if You want to, You can cleanse me. This phrase shows a deep faith, a big faith, an immense faith. “If you want,” because it is God’s will. Lord, if you do not me to be healed, and this is, to be saved, do not heal me. But if you want to and I will serve you, you can cleanse me. When we ask for prayers for the sick, we must be very careful, what is the objective that we ask? That He keeps him alive, just to live, or to keep him alive for a good and great service and not so that people remain alive to do harm, or destruction, or auto destruction.
3. Christ touches him, in verse 41 in Mark 1 it reads**-- 41 Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clea
