AFTER DEATH, WHAT?

Scripture Reading: 1 Thessalonians 4.

Memory Verse: 1 Thessalonians 4:16.

1. What does the Bible say death is? 1 Thessalonians 4:13, 14.

NOTE: When one is asleep, he is wholly lost to consciousness; time goes on unmeasured, and the function of mental awareness is suspended for the time being.

2. Where do the dead sleep? Daniel 12:2.

3. How long will they continue to sleep in the dust of the earth? Job 14:10-12; 1 Corinthians 15:42-58.

4. For what does Job say he will wait? Job 14:14.

5. Where will he wait for this change? Job 17:13.

6. What did King Hezekiah write concerning death and the grave? Isaiah 38:18,19; Psalms 30:9.

7. What about the thoughts of those who are dead? Psalms 146:4; Ecclesiastes 9:5, 6, 10.

8. Are the dead able to praise the Lord? Psalms 115:17.

9. Is there any remembrance in death and the grave? Psalms 6:5.

10. What is further said of those that die in the Lord? Revelation 20:6
