Did you know one king in the Bible ruled for only 7 days?

His name was Zimri, making him the shortest-reigning king in Israel's history.

After assassinating King Elah, Zimri declared himself king and probably thought he had secured the throne. But just seven days later, the people rejected him and proclaimed Omri as king instead.

When Zimri realized the city had been captured and there was no escape, he set the royal palace on fire around himself and died.

His story is one of the shortest reigns and one of the most dramatic in the entire Bible.

Did you know the Bible records a man who came back to life simply by touching a prophet's bones?

After the prophet Elisha died and was buried, some Israelites were burying another man when they suddenly spotted a raiding party. In a hurry, they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. The moment the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came back to life and stood on his feet!

This is one of the shortest yet most astonishing miracles in the Bible. It reminds us that God's power isn't limited by human expectations and that He can work in extraordinary ways.
