Faith Isn’t Enough Without Action

16/03/2026

There is a specific kind of exhaustion that comes with unemployment that nobody warns you about. It is not physical. You are not lifting anything. You are not running anywhere. But by evening you are completely drained and you cannot explain why.
You wake up with a plan. Update the resume. Send applications. Follow up on that lead from last week. Check LinkedIn. By noon you have done everything and now you just wait. Again. Like yesterday. Like the day before.

The waiting is what breaks you slowly.
People around you mean well but the questions start feeling like small cuts. Any luck yet? Have you tried this company? Maybe you should lower your expectations. Maybe you should go back to school. Maybe you should just take anything for now. Everyone has a suggestion and nobody has an opening.

What hits hardest is the identity crisis nobody talks about. So much of how we measure ourselves is tied to what we do. When someone asks what you do and you have no answer, something small inside you shrinks a little every time.
The money stress is real. But the quiet loss of purpose is what does the most damage.

If you are in this season right now, hear this. Unemployment is a gap in your timeline. It is not a verdict on your worth. The people who came out of it strongest were not the ones who never struggled. They were the ones who refused to let the waiting define them.
It will not always feel like this. Keep going.

Prayer for Missing Loved Ones

Heavenly Father,
We lift before You our friends and family members who are missing. You are the God who sees what is hidden and hears every silent cry. Shine Your light in the darkness and reveal their location.

Protect them wherever they are. Keep them safe from harm. Strengthen their hearts and remind them they are not forgotten.

We pray for divine intervention — guide authorities, open doors, and send helpers to bring them home. Give peace to every grieving family and strength to every waiting heart.

Lord, You promised never to leave nor forsake us. We trust You to turn pain into testimony. In Jesus’ name we pray,
Amen.

Comment Amen if you’re standing in prayer for your missing loved one.

For the Ones We’re Still Searching For

Some wounds are invisible but deep. Few things cut like the pain of a loved one who vanished without a trace. The silence, the unanswered calls, the empty chair at the table — it’s a grief with no closure.

But God sees. Nothing is hidden from Him. Even when we don’t know where they are, He does.

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight” (Hebrews 4:13).

To every mother, father, sister, brother still waiting: your tears are not wasted. The Lord bottles every tear (Psalm 56:8). His arm is not too short to save (Isaiah 59:1).

Keep praying. Keep hoping. Sometimes miracles take time, but heaven’s hand never weakens. Ask God to shine His light into the dark places, to send help, to bring answers and closure.

And as you wait, let your heart find comfort in His presence. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3).

If you’re carrying this pain, you’re not alone. Share a name in the comments, and let’s stand together in prayer. God still reunites families. He still finds the lost. He still turns mourning into dancing.
