Encouragement Message to Our Students
Dear Boys and Girls,
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We are living in a time when many challenges are affecting schools in Kenya. Issues such as peer pressure, drug and substance abuse, bullying, indiscipline, irresponsible use of social media, violence, and emotional struggles are becoming common among young people. These challenges can affect your education, your future, and your relationship with God.
As students, I encourage you to be vigilant, responsible, and disciplined in everything you do. The Bible reminds us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour." We must always be careful about the choices we make and the company we keep.
Remember that you are leaders of tomorrow. Your actions today will determine the kind of person you become in the future. Respect your parents, teachers, and fellow students. Focus on your studies and avoid anything that can destroy your dreams.
If you are facing any challenge—whether it is bullying, fear, family problems, drug temptation, depression, abuse, academic difficulties, or any other concern—please do not suffer in silence. Speak to your teachers, chaplain, parents, guidance and counseling teachers, or any trusted adult. Bringing issues to the table is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of wisdom and courage. Problems that are shared can be addressed and resolved.
The Bible says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Let us work together to create schools that are safe, respectful, peaceful, and conducive to learning. Let us be our brother's and sister's keeper by caring for one another and reporting anything that may put students at risk.
May God give you wisdom, courage, discipline, and success in your studies. May He protect you from harmful influences and guide you to become responsible citizens who will make Kenya a better nation.
May the Lord bless you, keep you, and help you shine brightly wherever you are.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for all our students. Protect them from every danger and harmful influence. Give them wisdom to make good choices, strength to resist temptation, and courage to speak out when they face challenges. Bless their studies, their families, and their future. May they grow in knowledge, character, and faith. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
God bless you all.
