The Power of Divine Strength: Starting Your Week with Faith

Isaiah 41:10 emphasizes God's unwavering support: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Philippians 4:13 reminds us of our empowerment through Christ: “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”

Psalms 28:7 affirms the Lord as our source of strength and shield: “The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.”

As we begin this week, it is vital to remember the divine power and strength available to us through faith.

During challenging times, it is natural to feel overwhelmed or vulnerable, but Scripture assures us that the Lord is our true strength.

Whether facing obstacles at work, school, or in personal relationships, we can draw upon God’s eternal strength to persevere.

By trusting in God, we foster resilience and also inspire those around us to embrace His promises.

Let these verses serve as a reminder of the strength we possess through our faith, empowering us to start the week uplifted and confident.

Beware of Destiny Killers

Genesis 37:20
"Come now, let’s kill him and throw him into one of these cisterns and say that a ferocious animal devoured him. Then we’ll see what comes of his dreams."

Destiny killers are obstacles, destroyers, discouragers, and spiritual assassins. We must be vigilant against them.

They are satanic agents assigned to destroy, derail, or thwart God's purposes for His children.

Even when we have achievable, realistic, and God-given visions, these destiny killers attempt to block our dreams, delay our progress, frustrate our efforts, and waste our time.

Such individuals might be in our families, churches, workplaces, or other social environments.

Like in the story of Joseph, who was plotted against by his brothers, these killers conspire to kill or frustrate our destiny, but God can prevent their plans.

The good news is that with God's presence, no scheme or plot of the devil and his agents can succeed against us.

I pray that anyone aiming to destroy your destiny will not succeed, in Jesus' name.

Nothing shall abort your destiny in Jesus’ mighty name.

All evil conspiracies to kill or hinder your purpose are defeated in Jesus' name.

THE NEED FOR GOD'S PRESENCE

Exodus 33:15-16
15 .Then Moses said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. 16 How will anyone know that You are pleased with me and Your people unless You go with us? What distinguishes me and Your people from all other nations on the earth?’

These verses exemplify how deeply Moses valued the divine presence of God. He fundamentally feared moving forward without it.

When we walk in God's favor, we are set apart from the world and gain a distinct advantage. To be effective in any service to the Lord, we must walk closely with Him.

Without the manifestation of God's power among us, we risk merely appearing religious.

God created us for an intimate, personal relationship with Him at all times.

Today, ask the Lord to reaffirm His presence and power in your life and endeavors.

THE REASON FOR THE SEASON

John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus was born to reveal God’s character to humanity. At the heart of God’s nature is love, a love powerfully demonstrated by the gift of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

We must recognize that without Christ, there is no Christmas. He is the definitive reason we celebrate this season, embraced by millions around the world.

This Christmas, let us reflect confidently on the incredible gift of Jesus to the world. His birth brings us unwavering hope, unending joy, and the promise of salvation. As we gather with loved ones, let's embrace the true meaning of this special day with gratitude and joy.

Let the light of Christ illuminate your homes with love and blessings, and may your hearts overflow with the peace that transcends all understanding.

4. Suffering is part of the job description

Paul never sold Timothy a glamorous gospel.
“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” 2 Timothy 3:12.
If a young minister thinks resistance means error, he will quit too early. Opposition does not always mean you are wrong. Sometimes it means you are aligned.

3. Doctrine matters more than gifting
Paul warns Timothy that right passion with wrong doctrine is still dangerous.
“Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them” 1 Timothy 4:16.
Many anointed people have ruined souls because they treated doctrine as optional. Power without truth produces confusion. Fire without structure becomes wildfire.

2. Character outruns charisma every time

Paul does not tell Timothy to impress people. He tells him to be an example.
“Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” 1 Timothy 4:12.
Before you lead publicly, you must govern privately. Before you command platforms, you must command appetites. Ministry collapses first in secret before it fails in public.

15/12/2025

This week we will learn seven things Paul told Timothy and every young minister must know it.

1. Your calling is real, but it must be stewarded

Paul reminds Timothy that ministry is not a feeling or a title. It is a deposit.
“Do not neglect the gift that is in you” 1 Timothy 4:14.
Calling unattended decays. Grace ignored leaks. Gifts grow only when exercised with discipline. A young minister must know that ordination is not arrival. It is responsibility.

Living as God's Chosen and Loved

Colossians 3:12
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

What does this mean for us as believers?

1. We are God’s chosen ones! This is a profound truth. Being part of God’s family is a privilege to be valued and celebrated.

2. We are called holy, meaning "set apart." This designation is based on God’s work within us, not our own actions.

3. We are dearly loved by God. John 3:16 highlights the depth of His love, reminding us of our worth in His eyes.

Having experienced God’s love, mercy, and grace, we are called to extend the same kindness and love to others.

As God’s children, let’s aim to embody qualities like compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. These virtues enrich our lives and testify to our faith in Christ.

Let’s embrace this message and share kindness daily!

Living the Golden Rule

Matthew 7:12
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets

This principle is more than a rule; it is a lifestyle rooted in love and kindness.

As God's craftsmanship, created in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:10), we are called to perform good works in all areas of life: at work, home, school, and church.

This involves treating others with the same love, respect, and care we desire for ourselves. Helping those in need, showing compassion to neighbors, and living with kindness toward everyone are essential.

Through God's grace, we can embody this way of living.

Let us commit to living out this golden rule: _"Whatever you want to be done unto you, do it unto others."_

May our good works bring glory to God, reflecting His love in all we do.

God bless you and keep you safe.
