DISCIPLESHIP

Luke 19:62; When Jesus has called you, you should leave everything aside and follow Him. When Elijah called Elisha into the ministry, he found him ploughing with his oxen, but when Elijah threw a cloak on him, he left ploughing and started to follow him. When Elisha told Elijah that he was to bid his parents goodbye, Elijah told him to go back, when he did, he slaughtered all his oxen, and used his plough to cook the meat. Immediately he followed Elijah 1 kings 19:19-21. That shows clearly that if we want to follow Jesus, we must deny ourselves.
