Biblia. 1 Yohana 4:1-21
Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
[11]Wapenzi ikiwa Mungu alitupenda sisi hivi, imetupasa na sisi kupendana.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
[12]Hakuna mtu aliyemwona Mungu wakati wo wote. Tukipendana, Mungu hukaa ndani yetu, na pendo lake limekamilika ndani yetu.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
[19]Sisi twapenda kwa maana yeye alitupenda sisi kwanza.
We love him, because he first loved us.
If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

Biblia. Luka 8:1-56
And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,
And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
[4]Mkutano mkuu ulipokutanika, na wale waliotoka kila mji wakimjia, alisema kwa mfano;
And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spake by a parable:
[5]Mpanzi alitoka kwenda kupanda mbegu zake; naye alipokuwa akizipanda, nyingine zilianguka karibu na njia, zikakanyagwa, ndege wa angani wakazila.
A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
[6]Nyingine zikaanguka penye mwamba; zilipoanza kumea zikakauka kwa kukosa rutuba.
And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.
And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.
And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?
And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
[16]
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.
[17]Kwa maana hakuna neno lililositirika ambalo halitafunuliwa; wala lililofichwa ambalo halitajulikana na kutokea wazi.
For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.
Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.
[20]Akaletewa habari akiambiwa, Mama yako na ndugu zako wamesimama nje wakitaka kuonana nawe.
And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.
And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.
[22]Ikawa siku zile mojawapo alipanda chomboni yeye na wanafunzi wake, akawaambia, Na tuvuke mpaka ng’ambo ya ziwa. Wakatweka matanga.
Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.
[23]Nao walipokuwa wakienda, alilala usingizi.
But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.
[24]Wakamwendea, wakamwamsha, wakisema, Bwana mkubwa, Bwana mkubwa, tunaangamia.
And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.
[25]Akawaambia, Imani yenu iko wapi? Wakaogopa, wak**aka, wakisema wao kwa wao, Ni nani huyu basi hata anaamuru upepo na maji, navyo vyamtii?
And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.
[26]Wakafika pwani ya nchi ya Wagerasi, inayoelekea Galilaya.
And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is over against Galilee.
[27]Naye aliposhuka pwani, alikutana na mtu mmoja wa mji ule, mwenye pepo, hakuvaa nguo siku nyingi, wala hakukaa nyumbani, ila makaburini.
And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.
Nakusihi usinitese.
When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God most high? I beseech thee, torment me not.
(For he had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)
[30]Yesu akamwuliza, Jina lako nani?
And Jesus asked him, saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.
[31]Wakamsihi asiwaamuru watoke kwenda shimoni.
And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.
[32]Basi, hapo palikuwa na kundi la nguruwe wengi wakilisha mlimani; wakamsihi awape ruhusa kuwaingia wale. Akawapa ruhusa.
And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.
[33]Pepo wakamtoka mtu yule wakawaingia nguruwe, nalo kundi lilitelemka gengeni kwa kasi, wakaingia ziwani, wakafa maji.
Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.
[34]Wachungaji walipoona lililotokea walikimbia, wakaieneza habari mjini na mashambani.
When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.
[35]Watu wakatoka kwenda kuliona lililotokea, wakamwendea Yesu, wakamwona mtu yule aliyetokwa na pepo ameketi miguuni pa Yesu, amevaa nguo, ana akili zake; wakaogopa.
Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.
[36]Na wale waliokuwa wameona waliwaeleza jinsi alivyoponywa yule aliyepagawa na pepo.
They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.
Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.
Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,
[39]Rudi nyumbani kwako, ukahubiri yalivyo makuu Mungu aliyokutendea.
Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.
[40]Basi Yesu aliporudi mkutano ulimkaribisha kwa furaha, maana walikuwa wakimngojea wote.
And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
[41]Na tazama, mtu mmoja akaja, jina lake Yairo, naye ni mtu mkuu wa sinagogi, akaanguka miguuni pa Yesu, akamsihi aingie nyumbani kwake;
And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:
For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.
And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,
Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.
[45]Yesu akasema, Ni nani aliyenigusa? Basi, watu wote walipokana, Petro alimwambia, Bwana mkubwa, makutano haya wanakuzunguka na kukusonga.
And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?
And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.
And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.
[48]Akamwambia Binti, imani yako imekuponya; enenda zako na amani.
And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
[49]Alipokuwa akinena hayo, alikuja mtu kutoka nyumbani kwa yule mkuu wa sinagogi, akamwambia, Binti yako amekwisha kufa; usimsumbue mwalimu.
While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
[51]Alipofika nyumbani hakuacha mtu kuingia pamoja naye ila Petro, na Yohana, na Yakobo, na babaye yule mtoto na mamaye.
And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
[52]Na watu wote walikuwa wakilia na kumwombolezea; akasema, Msilie, hakufa huyu, bali amelala usingizi tu.
And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
[54]Akamshika mkono, akapaza sauti, akisema Kijana, inuka.
And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.
[55]Roho yake ikamrejea, naye mara hiyo akasimama. Akaamuru apewe chakula.
And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat.
And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

English Swahili. Hebrews 11:1-40
[1]Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
[2]For by it the elders obtained a good report.
Maana kwa hiyo wazee wetu walishuhudiwa.
[3]Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
[4]By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
[5]By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
[6]But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
[7]By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
[8]By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
Kwa imani Ibrahimu alipoitwa aliitika, atoke aende mahali pale atakapopapata kuwa urithi; akatoka asijue aendako.
[9]By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:
[10]For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
[11]Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.
[12]Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable.
[13]These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
[14]For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
Maana hao wasemao maneno k**a hayo waonyesha wazi kwamba wanatafuta nchi yao wenyewe.
[15]And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
Na k**a wangaliikumbuka nchi ile waliyotoka, wangalipata nafasi ya kurejea.
[16]But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
[17]By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Kwa imani Ibrahimu alipojaribiwa, akamtoa Isaka awe dhabihu; na yeye aliyezipokea hizo ahadi alikuwa akimtoa mwanawe, mzaliwa pekee;
[18]Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
naam, yeye aliyeambiwa, Katika Isaka uzao wako utaitwa,
[19]Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
[20]By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
[21]By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
[22]By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
[23]By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
[24]By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Kwa imani Musa alipokuwa mtu mzima, akakataa kuitwa mwana wa binti Farao;
[25]Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
akaona ni afadhali kupata mateso pamoja na watu wa Mungu kuliko kujifurahisha katika dhambi kwa kitambo;
[26]Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
[27]By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Kwa imani akatoka Misri, asiogope ghadhabu ya mfalme; maana alistahimili k**a amwonaye yeye asiyeonekana.
[28]Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
[29]By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
[30]By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
[31]By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.
[32]And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:
Nami niseme nini tena? Maana wakati usingenitosha kuleta habari za Gideoni na Baraka na Samsoni na Yeftha na Daudi na Samweli na za manabii;
[33]Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
[34]Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.
[35]Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
Wanawake walipokea wafu wao waliofufuliwa. Lakini wengine waliumizwa vibaya hata kuuawa, wasikubali ukombozi, ili wapate ufufuo ulio bora;
[36]And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment:
wengine walijaribiwa kwa dhihaka na mapigo, naam, kwa mafungo, na kwa kutiwa gerezani;
[37]They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;
walipigwa kwa mawe, walikatwa kwa misumeno, walijaribiwa, waliuawa kwa upanga; walizunguka-zunguka wakivaa ngozi za kondoo na ngozi za mbuzi; walikuwa wahitaji, wakiteswa, wakitendwa mabaya;
[38](Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
[39]And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
Na watu hao wote wakiisha kushuhudiwa kwa sababu ya imani yao, hawakuipokea ahadi;
[40]God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.
kwa kuwa Mungu alikuwa ametangulia kutuwekea sisi kitu kilicho bora, ili wao wasikamilishwe pasipo sisi.
