We preach the Gospel and form young men into religious life following the spirit of our founder

The readings for the 22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time invite us to reflect on the cost of following Christ. Through the experience of Prophet Jeremiah, we see that remaining faithful to God’s truth can bring opposition, rejection and suffering. In the Gospel, Jesus reminds His disciples that anyone who wishes to follow Him must take up their cross and follow Him.

Christian discipleship calls us beyond comfort and self-preservation. We are invited to surrender our lives to Christ, trusting that in losing our lives for His sake, we discover true and eternal life. The cross, therefore, is not the end, but the path to glory.
A blessed Sunday to you all!

Reflecting on Matthew 16:13–20, we see Peter’s declaration that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus reminds Peter that this truth comes not from human opinion but from God’s revelation. The reflection highlights three lessons: faith is rooted in God’s truth rather than popular opinion; Christ entrusted His Church with the responsibility of preserving and sharing truth and grace; and the Church belongs to Christ, not to any individual.

We are invited to listen, discern and remain united in faith.

The reflection for the 20th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A, invites us to embrace a faith that perseveres even when prayers seem unanswered. Through the story of the Canaanite woman, we encounter a woman whose deep trust, humility, and persistence lead her to seek healing for her daughter. Her unwavering faith challenges us not to give up when faced with difficulties, silence, or disappointment. The reflection reminds us that God’s mercy reaches beyond human boundaries and that genuine faith trusts in God even when the path is unclear. We are encouraged to remain steadfast in prayer, trusting that God hears us and never abandons us.

Blessed Sunday to you all!

Feast of St. Dominic | 8 August

Today, we celebrate St. Dominic de Guzmán, founder of the Order of Preachers, whose life was marked by a deep love for Christ, truth, prayer and the mission of sharing the Gospel.

May his example inspire us to seek truth, nurture faith and use our gifts in service of others.

St. Dominic, pray for us!

As we joyfully prepare for a weekend of grace and celebration, we invite you to journey with us in prayer and thanksgiving.

This Friday, we will celebrate the Vestition of four postulants as they receive the Dominican habit and officially begin the Novitiate—a special year of deeper prayer, study, community life, and discernment as they continue responding to God's call.

On Saturday morning, eight brothers will renew their religious vows, reaffirming their commitment to live the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity, and obedience in the spirit of St. Dominic.

Later that day, we will witness the profession of three novices making their First Vows, dedicating themselves to God through temporary vows as they continue their formation. We will also celebrate three brothers making their Solemn Vows, their lifelong and definitive commitment to God in the Order of Preachers.

These are moments of immense joy for our Dominican family and for the Church. We warmly invite you to join us spiritually by following all these celebrations live on our YouTube channel. Stay tuned, pray for our brothers, and rejoice with us as they continue saying "yes" to God's call.

All You Who Are Thirsty, Come to the Waters

God invites everyone who thirsts for hope, peace, and true fulfillment to come to Him. This reflection explores how Christ, the source of living water, alone can satisfy the deepest longings of the human heart and lead us to abundant life.

What are you truly seeking in life? The 17th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year A) invites us to discover that God's Kingdom is the greatest treasure, worth every sacrifice. Through the wisdom of Solomon and Jesus' parables of the hidden treasure and the pearl of great price, this homily encourages us to seek Christ above all else and treasure what lasts forever.
A Blessed Sunday to you!
