We are deeply saddened by the unfortunate fire incident at Utumishi Girls Academy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the students, teachers, parents, and the entire school fraternity during this difficult time.

We thank God for the efforts made to ensure safety and pray for quick recovery and comfort to all those affected emotionally and materially. May strength, unity, and hope prevail as the school community rebuilds and recovers from this tragedy.

Let us continue standing together in prayer and support for Utumishi Girls Academy.

Bishop Desvariste, the bishop over our Haiti General conference, is pleading for prayer. The kidnapping scourge in Haiti has reached new and terrifying levels. Many of our members were kidnapped yesterday the 27th of July. Many churches and schools and the university are being completely disrupted. Intercede for Haiti today and in the days to come that the Lord would intervene and bring peace.
