Victory measurement
1. One of the Strongest Victories
One of the strongest victories in ministry is not the ability to preach precisely or eloquently. True strength is not measured by how powerful a sermon sounds, but by the condition of the heart behind it.
> 1 Corinthians 2:4–5 (KJV)
“And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”
Eloquence may impress people, but only purity and surrender sustain a minister.
---
2. Strength Is Not in Religious Activity
Let nobody tell you that you are powerful simply because you pray or preach. I have seen people pray for hours—twenty hours even—yet still grow weary, exhausted, and defeated in the flesh.
Prayer is essential. Fasting is important. Preaching is necessary. But these alone do not automatically exempt anyone from temptation or spiritual attack.
> 1 Corinthians 9:27 (KJV)
“But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
Spiritual activity without inner transformation can lead to burnout and vulnerability.
---
3. The Danger of Exhaustion
Some have carried glory, defended the fire, and stood strong publicly—yet became exhausted inwardly. And in moments of weakness, they fell into sin.
Exhaustion in the flesh can open doors to temptation if the inner life is not guarded.
> Matthew 26:41 (KJV)
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
The issue is not merely how much we do for God, but whether Christ truly reigns within us.
---
4. What Truly Exempts a Man from the Devil’s Influence
What exempts a person from the influence of the devil is not activity—it is possession. When Christ fully occupies a man, the enemy finds nothing to claim.
Jesus made a profound statement:
> John 14:30 (KJV)
“Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
This verse is powerful. The enemy came, but found nothing in Jesus that belonged to him—no agreement, no foothold, no compromise.
That is true spiritual security.
---
5. The Prince of This World Has Nothing in Me
For years, this truth can keep a person thinking deeply:
If the devil finds something in you that belongs to him—uncrucified desires, hidden sin, unresolved bitterness—he will exploit it.
> Ephesians 4:27 (KJV)
“Neither give place to the devil.”
Victory is not about loud declarations; it is about inner alignment with Christ.
---
6. Living a Themed Life: Belonging Fully to Christ
Our lives must carry one theme: total belonging to Jesus.
> Galatians 2:20 (KJV)
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…”
When Christ truly lives in a man, the enemy finds no legal ground.
---
7. The Glorious Exception
The glorious exception is this:
Even if the enemy searches, investigates, or attempts to attack, he will find nothing in you that belongs to him—because your heart, desires, and life belong entirely to Christ.
> 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
That is real strength.
That is the strongest victory.
That is true ministry power.
