Global Methodist Church Kakuma

Today, 21 February,2026 A devastating storm has struck the Global Methodist Church in Kakuma, Turkana County. The church building, which cost millions Kenyan Shillings to construct, was destroyed by heavy rains and powerful winds. The damage extended beyond the main church; the pastors' offices were also completely blown away by the storm. In a further blow, the solar panel system installed on the church's roof was severely damaged. This has left the congregation in a very sad and difficult situation.
