Easter Sunday Service Highlights: The Power of Resurrection
What a glorious and spirit-filled celebration of the risen Christ in our Easter Sunday service! Drawing from John 20:11–16, our Lord Bishop Charles Kascan Asilutwa unpacked the deep moment when Mary Magdalene stood outside the tomb, overwhelmed with grief and confusion, not realizing that the very answer she was seeking was standing right before her. It was only when Jesus called her by name that her eyes were opened and her sorrow turned into joy.
This powerful encounter reminds us that even in our lowest moments-when hope seems lost and situations feel unclear-Christ is near, present, and at work. He knows us personally, calls us by name, and reveals Himself in ways that transform our mourning into purpose and renewed faith.
Our Lord Bishop’s message also emphasized the essence of giving towards God’s work with joyful and willing hearts, encouraging all believers to remain steadfast in supporting the ministry. He reminded us not to be burdened by worries and troubles, for Christ is risen-and he cares for us deeply.
The Bishop expressed great joy in today’s service and appreciated the dedication of the Sunday School leadership, especially the chairlady, for nurturing our children in faith. Mama Anne Kascan Asilutwa also commended the incredible role of Sunday School in nurturing the children.
A special highlight was the inspiring play “The Resurrection” by the Sunday School children-truly uplifting and impactful.
The praise and worship team together with the choir ministered powerfully, filling the atmosphere with grace and blessing.
Indeed, Christ is risen! Let us walk in His victory, give with joy, and trust Him fully.

Happy Easter!!

DAY 7 | 12 DAYS OF PRAYER & FASTING

Before we ask God to change circumstances, He invites us to rest in His love. From Zephaniah 3:17, today’s focus reminds us that God is not only mighty to save, but also tender-rejoicing over His people and quieting their fears.

As we gather, we choose stillness over striving, assurance over anxiety, and joy rooted in God’s delight, not in outcomes.
Remember to break your fast either at Midday, 3 PM, or 6 PM

🗓 Sunday, 25th January 2026

⏰ Physical prayer meetings happen from Monday to Saturday at 4:00 PM

We are strengthened not by effort alone, but by knowing we are deeply loved.

As we keep on going ahead with our prayer and fasting period; here are the expected important date and times to note.
