THANKSGIVING THURSDAY | ALHAMISI YA SHUKRANI.

📖 “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11

Not every gift from God arrives in our hands.

Sometimes, it arrives through a person.

A friend who checked on you when you were quiet.
Someone who prayed for you without telling you.
A parent who kept believing in you.
A teacher who saw potential in you.
A church member who stood beside you when life became difficult.
Someone whose simple words gave you strength at exactly the right moment.

Today, let your thanksgiving include the people God has used along your journey.

Don't just remember what they did—thank God for placing them in your life.

And perhaps there is someone you have been meaning to appreciate. Don't wait.

📱 Send the message.
📞 Make the call.
🤝 Say the words.

“Thank you for being there.”

You may never know how much those words could mean to someone.

🙏 A Prayer of Thanksgiving

Lord, thank You for the people You have placed along our journey. Thank You for those who encourage us, correct us, pray for us, support us, and remind us of Your love. Help us never to take such people for granted. Show us also how to become a source of encouragement to someone else. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Today, thank God for someone—and let that person know they are appreciated.

Sometimes thanksgiving is not just a prayer we say to God; it is appreciation we express to someone He used to bless our lives. 🙏

MWABUDU BWANA | JUMATANO

📖 “Ee nafsi yangu, umhimidi Bwana, wala usizisahau fadhili zake zote.”
— Zaburi 103:2

Sometimes we become so focused on what we are still waiting for that we forget to appreciate what God has already done.

Take a moment today and look back. Think about the prayers God has answered, the doors He has opened, the dangers He has brought you through, the people He has placed in your life, and even the simple gift of waking up to see another day.

What if today, instead of counting what is missing, you counted your blessings?

You may discover that God has been faithful in more ways than you realized. Some blessings may be big and obvious, while others may be hidden in the ordinary moments we often take for granted.

🙏 A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your countless blessings. Open our eyes to recognize Your goodness, even in the little things. Teach us to remember Your faithfulness and to praise You for what You have done, what You are doing, and what You are yet to do. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As you go through this day, pause for a moment and remember the goodness of God in your life. Count them. Name them. Give thanks for them.

And as you reflect, let these familiar words become your invitation to worship:

🎶 “Count your blessings, name them one by one;
And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.” 🎶

📖 “Kila mtu na ajichunguze kazi yake mwenyewe, ndipo atakapokuwa na sababu ya kujisifu kwa habari zake mwenyewe, wala si kwa habari za mwingine.”
— Wagalatia 6:4

Usipime maisha yako kwa kuangalia maisha ya mtu mwingine.

Mwingine anaweza kuwa mbele yako katika jambo fulani.
Mwingine anaweza kuwa ameanza kuona matunda ya kazi yake wakati wewe bado unasubiri.
Na mwingine anaweza kuwa anaonekana kuwa na kila kitu unachotamani.

Lakini Mungu hakukupa safari yao. Alikupa yako.

Usiruhusu mafanikio ya mwingine yakufanye udharau hatua ulizopiga.

Kuna mambo ambayo Mungu anajenga ndani yako ambayo hayawezi kuonekana kwa macho.

🌿 Kila mtu ana wakati wake, mazingira yake, changamoto zake, na safari yake.

Badala ya kujiuliza, “Kwa nini yeye na si mimi?”

Jiulize:

“Ninawezaje kuwa mwaminifu kwa kile Mungu amekiweka mikononi mwangu?”

Endelea kukua.
Endelea kujifunza.
Endelea kufanya yaliyo mema.

Safari yako si mashindano.

🙏 MAOMBI

Bwana, tuepushe na roho ya kujilinganisha na wengine. Tusaidie kuthamini safari uliyotuwekea na kuwa waaminifu katika kile ulichotukabidhi. Tunapowaona wengine wakifanikiwa, tupe moyo wa kufurahia nao bila kupoteza mwelekeo wetu. Amina.

✨ Usilinganishe sura ya nje ya safari yako na sura ya nje ya safari ya mwingine.

🌿 Heshimu safari yako. Fanya sehemu yako. Mwamini Mungu.

What a blessed Sunday we shared together in God's presence! 🙏

We thank God for a wonderful time of worship, fellowship, and the teaching of His Word.

📖 BIBLE EXPOSITION | ROMANS 12:3–10

PasMoses Mbithiithi continued with our Bible exposition series in the book of Romans, taking us through Romans 12:3–10.

The passage reminds us that, although we are many, we are one body in Christ, and each of us has been given different gifts and responsibilities.

We were challenged to:

🌿 Walk in humility and not think of ourselves more highly than we ought.
🌿 Recognize and faithfully use the gifts God has given us.
🌿 Understand that every member has a valuable place in the body of Christ.
🌿 Let our service be marked by genuine love, devotion, and care for one another.

The message was a beautiful reminder that God doesn't ask us to be the same—He calls us to faithfully use what He has entrusted to each of us.

As a church family, may we continue to serve one another, appreciate our different gifts, and grow together in love.

MONDAY MORNING | CARRY PEACE WITH YOU

📖 “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You.”
— Isaiah 26:3

Monday comes with its own list of things to do.

Responsibilities are waiting.
Decisions need to be made.
People need our attention.
And sometimes, before the day has even properly begun, the mind is already tired.

But you don't have to face everything at once.

Take one step at a time.

Do what is yours to do.
Leave what is beyond your control with God.
And don't allow tomorrow's worries to consume today's strength.

Peace doesn't always mean that everything around you is quiet.

Sometimes, peace is knowing that God remains in control even when life isn't going according to your plans.

🙏 MONDAY PRAYER

Lord, as we begin this week, guard our minds and hearts with Your peace. When responsibilities feel overwhelming, remind us to take one step at a time. Give us wisdom for our decisions, patience with people, and strength for today's tasks. Help us trust You with what we cannot control. Amen.

📖 “Kila mmoja na atende k**a alivyokusudia moyoni mwake, si kwa huzuni wala kwa lazima; maana Mungu humpenda yeye atoaye kwa moyo wa ukunjufu.”
— 2 Wakorintho 9:7

Shukrani haionekani tu kwenye maneno yetu.

Inaonekana pia katika jinsi tunavyothamini kile tulichopewa.

Tunapothamini muda, tunautumia kwa hekima.
Tunapothamini watu, tunawatendea kwa upendo.
Tunapothamini nafasi tulizopewa, tunazitumia vizuri.
Tunapothamini vipawa vyetu, tunavitumia kuwabariki wengine.

Mara nyingi tunatazama kile ambacho bado hatuna na kusahau thamani ya kile ambacho tayari kiko mikononi mwetu.

🌿 Moyo wa shukrani hujifunza kusema, “Ninaweza kufanya nini na hiki nilichopewa?” badala ya “Kwa nini sina zaidi?”

Leo, thamini ulicho nacho.
Tumia ulichopewa.
Mbariki mtu mwingine kwa kile kilicho mikononi mwako.

🙏 MAOMBI

Bwana, tupe moyo wa kuthamini yale uliyotukabidhi. Tusaidie tusipuuze muda, watu, vipawa na nafasi ulizotupa. Tufanye kuwa wasimamizi wazuri wa kila jambo uliloweka mikononi mwetu, na maisha yetu yawe baraka kwa wengine. Amina.

✨ Shukrani huanza pale tunapoona thamani ya tulichonacho, kabla ya kutamani tulichokosa.
