Today, the Catholic Diocese of Isiolo marked the Feast Day for Consecrated Life with a seminar and solemn Eucharistic celebration. Led by Bishop Peter Munguti Makau and Bishop Emeritus Anthony Ireri Mukobo, the event brought together priests, religious brothers, sisters, and novices from across the diocese.

During his homily, Bishop Makau emphasized the virtue of humility as the foundation of mission. Drawing inspiration from Simeon and Anna, he called upon the consecrated men and women to reject individualism in favor of synodality. The Bishopโ€™s message was clear: we are called to journey together as one family, witnessing Christ through communal living and shared purpose within Isiolo.

The PMC children of the Diocese today celebrated their annual feast during the celebration of Epiphany, which was anticipated for today. The mass was celebrated by Bishop Peter Munguti Makau, joined by the PMS Director Fr. Charles Njue, Fr. Bosco, Fr. Thuranira, and other priests.
Bishop Peter Makau emphasized the theme, "One in Christ, Together in Mission." He urged the children to help each other by being generous, offering prayers, and making friendships. Bishop Makau also urged the animators, clergy, parents, and children to spread the gospel.

Today, November 1, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of All Saints. It is a day dedicated to remembering all those who have faithfully walked before us, living lives that reflected Christโ€™s love in the world. This celebration is not only about the canonized saints but also about every soul who responded to Godโ€™s call with faith and love. May their example inspire us to live with the same boldness and grace.

As we honour the saints who have gone before us, we also celebrate those who continue to answer Godโ€™s call in our own time. Through their intercession, may we draw ever closer to God and one day share in the joy of His heavenly kingdom.
