The Spirit of Unity Mission Churc
hes (SUMC) is a Christ-centered fellowship of believers based in Homa Bay County, Kenya, committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and uniting God’s people across communities through faith, discipleship, and service. Founded and led by Pastor Paul Odiwuor Ogola, SUMC seeks to embody the love and truth of Christ through both spiritual and practical outreach — nurturing believers, supporting families, and restoring hope to the vulnerable.

To glorify God by making Christ known, nurturing disciples, and building united, Spirit-filled communities of faith. We exist to:
-Preach the full Gospel of Jesus Christ with love and boldness.
-Equip believers to become disciple-makers.
-Strengthen unity among churches and ministries.
-Serve communities through compassion, education, and empowerment.

-Evangelism & Discipleship:
Sharing the Gospel in villages, schools, and communities — raising new believers and leaders.
-Church Planting & Leadership Development:
Training pastors and elders for healthy, growing congregations.
-Community Outreach:
Feeding the poor, caring for widows and orphans, and promoting peace and unity.
-Youth & Children’s Ministry:
Nurturing the next generation through biblical education and mentoring.
-Prayer & Revival Movement:
Fostering spiritual renewal through intercession, worship, and fasting gatherings.

-Build spiritual and leadership capacity through shared training and mentorship.
-Connect local ministry work in Kenya with global disciple-making movements.
-Exchange prayer support, teaching materials, and ministry experience.
-Develop sustainable projects that integrate faith and action for lasting impact.
-Our desire is to grow in fellowship with ministries like The Hope Center and Reality LA, learning from their model of Gospel-centered community transformation and multiplying that impact here in Africa.
