THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THOSE WHO JUMP FROM ONE CHURCH TO ANOTHER.
NB:Not everyone who changes churches is wrong.
(1). They Often Avoid Accountability.
Many church hoppers dislike correction and discipline. They leave when leadership begins to confront hidden issues or challenge their growth.
(2). They Carry Unhealed Offenses.
Instead of resolving issues, they escape. Wherever they go, they take offense with them like luggage, poisoning every new relationship.
(3). They Want Position Without Process.
They desire the microphone, title, or platform but refuse to be trained, tried, or proven.
(4). They Struggle with Submission.
True discipleship requires submission to godly leadership. Those who hop from church to church usually reject spiritual authority.
(5). They Are Easily Influenced.
A little gossip, disagreement, or social media trend can sway them. Stability in Christ requires more maturity than popularity.
(6). They Confuse Activity with Growth.
Being busy in multiple churches doesn’t equal spiritual maturity. Real growth happens in consistency and obedience.
(7). They Rarely Bear Fruit.
Just like a plant constantly uprooted never grows deep roots, these individuals struggle to bear lasting spiritual fruit.
(8). They Often Leave a Trail of Division.
Many leave not quietly, but with gossip, bitterness, or efforts to draw others away—sowing discord in the body of Christ.
(9). They Miss the Blessing of Covenant Fellowship.
God places us in spiritual families for purpose. Constant jumping robs them of lasting relationships and divine covering.
(10). They Need Healing and Teaching.
Not condemnation, but correction. Many of them need love, deliverance, and sound teaching to be restored to stability.
“Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92:13)
