Let Him Build It

Today’s Scripture :
Psalm 127:1, NIV
“Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain.”

Today’s Word :
We know that only God can change some things, but too often we take action and try to force it, which only leads to greater frustration. The psalmist says that unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. How many of us are laboring in vain, constantly struggling, always trying to force things to happen, trying to change our spouse, or convince a coworker to like us, or harping on our kids to get back on course? We’re trying to control what we can’t control. We’re working harder than ever, but not seeing any improvement. Everything’s a burden. That’s laboring in vain. You don’t have to try to manipulate people or convince someone to be good to you. You don’t have to force doors to open. You don’t have to make your business grow, make yourself get well, pay someone back for doing you wrong, or prove to someone who you are. All that’s going to do is drain your energy, take your joy, and steal your creativity. God is saying, “Leave it alone. Let Me build it.”

Prayer For Today :
Thank You that You are in control, and my life and my situations are in Your hands. I’m going to stay in peace and trust You to work things out for the best. I believe You will build my house. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

Habakkuk 2:2,
Then the LORD answered me, “Write the vision. Make it clear on tablets so that anyone can read it quickly.”

We are looking forward to the launch of Redeemed Gathering here in Joska to the Glory of God.

Psalm 66:10-12
10 For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried.
11 Thou broughtest us into the net; thou laidst affliction upon our loins.
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water: but thou broughtest us out into a wealthy place.

The way God build's our faith is trouble, trials, difficulties and hardships. It's experience that makes it work.

The benefits of Redemption.

We are told: “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” (Psalm 107:2 KJV).

When you know you are redeemed, your walk with God will change. You’ll see yourself in a brand-new light.

You will know God has placed such great value on you because He purchased you through the precious blood of His dear Son. That blood was shed for all mankind—for every man, woman, boy, and girl. All anyone has to do is say “yes” to experience the redemption purchased by Christ’s sacrifice on Calvary’s cross.

And from the moment you are ransomed from sin, there are blessings and promises from the Word of God available to you.

Every year As we approach Easter, the yearly commemoration of our Lord’s death, burial, and resurrection, how often do we sing this wonderful Andraé Crouch song?

The blood that Jesus shed for me,
Way back on Calvary;
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day,
It will never lose its power.
It reaches to the highest mountain,
It flows to the lowest valley;
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day,
It will never lose its power.

Oh, that each believer could understand the meaning of those words and the trail of blood that runs through the Old and New Testaments—the Adamic Covenant, Noahic Covenant, Abrahamic Covenant, Mosaic Covenant, Davidic Covenant, New Covenant, and the Everlasting Covenant. Today, God continues to give Christ-followers the power to live triumphantly, for each one of us has been redeemed by His blood!

So, what are we supposed to tell others? The list could be endless. Let me share specific benefits.

The benefits of redemption include:
1. Eternal life (Revelation 5:9-10)
2. Forgiveness of sins (Ephesians1:7)
3. Righteousness (Romans 5:17),
4. Freedom from the law’s curse (Galatians 3:13),
5. Adoption into God’s family (Galatians 4:5),
6. Deliverance from sin’s bo***ge (Titus 2:14; 1 Peter 1:14-18),
7. Peace with God (Colossians 1:18-20),
8. The indwelling of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

Related to the Christian concept of redemption is the word ransom. Jesus paid the price for our release from sin and its punishment (Matthew 20:28; 1 Timothy 2:6). His death was in exchange for our life. In fact, Scripture is quite clear that redemption is only possible “through His blood,” that is, by His death (Colossians 1:14).

The streets of heaven will be filled with former captives who, through no merit of their own, find themselves redeemed, forgiven, and free. Slaves to sin have become saints. No wonder we will sing a new song—a song of praise to the Redeemer who was slain (Revelation 5:9). We were slaves to sin, condemned to eternal separation from God. Jesus paid the price to redeem us, resulting in our freedom from slavery to sin and our rescue from the eternal consequences of that sin.

The word redeem means “to buy out.” The term was used specifically in reference to the purchase of a slave’s freedom. The application of this term to Christ’s death on the cross is quite telling. If we are “redeemed,” then our prior condition was one of slavery. God has purchased our freedom, and we are no longer in bo***ge to sin or to the Old Testament law. This metaphorical use of “redemption” is the teaching of Galatians 3:13
"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), and Galatians 4 : 4-5
"But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons."
